Worst App EVER !!

For almost 2 years, this app has FAILED to send me SOUND NOTIFICATIONS. I have lost money and jobs because of it. When I contacted customer support numerous times two years they failed rectify the situation. I have even threatened against them because their app is causing me to lose money assignments, and a piece of mind!!

Slow and rejecting fixes

I’ve used this for three years now and instead of fixing the problems they have, they ban third party assistance services like Subalert that strive to provide solutions. I don’t know whether it’s pride or pure laziness, but if it wasn’t given a monopoly over the jobs in my district, I’d use anything else.

Reliable and Easy to Use

Frontline Education is a helpful and reliable app for accepting and managing substitute jobs. The job details are clear, the notifications are useful, and the process is simple. It helps me stay organized and respond quickly to available assignments. Thank you.

Don't get the best jobs

For some reason I'm not able to get the jobs that I see other subs get. I don't know why. Often if I even get a decent one on which to click somebody's already taken it

Good service

They called me to assign a job and continue it. This is good service

Easy

The application is so easy to use

Quickly identify

Access to accept or cancel with the strike of a finger!

App is glitchy and inconsistent

This app works for a while then it doesn’t. My biggest problem is that the audio alerts for jobs does not work. It does for a little while then it goes away then you have to reload the app and then it works for a while then it goes away, etc. etc..

ZERO stars

App is 100% unreliable, flawed, and archaic. Not even deserving of 1 star.

Logs me out frequently

I have never had an app that logs me out like Frontline does. It’s very frustrating! Can someone please fix this? I will even get a notification for a job and then when I open the app, I’m logged out, likely causing me to miss a job!!! Jobs go quickly so being able to open the app and be logged in already is crucial. Also, can I please recommend being able to save your log in and password? It takes so much time to type in a lengthy school email and password. You guys could fix so many things to improve this app.

Sllllow

This app is slow in updating substitution assignments and slow to load them.

Horrible App

They pass the buck to school districts. I have been going around and around with them for at least a week. Terrible terrible app.

Slow

The app is convenient but when I immediately open the app at the notification to see the job it’s already taken. Unfair disadvantage.

Trash

Be wary of fake reviews. 90% are lying. Check r/substitutes and you’ll see how people really feel about Frontline. Useless app. Give users better filtering and fix the lag. It’s ridiculous tbh that Frontline is banning 3rd parties but won’t fix this stupid app.

So much potential but…. why?

A) I constantly—*constantly*—have to log in. I can’t find any pattern to why. Sometimes it’ll stay logged in for months, and other times I get logged out multiple times a day. B) The app uses a tiny icon instead of just the times or “Full”/“Half”, and puts available jobs on the second (or third, if you have to log in again!) screen/tap. Why do I need to see the “add non-work day” and “scheduled jobs” screen before the screen most of us actually use the app for? C) Job notifications say “new jobs available.” Cool. So? Are they jobs I want? Are they full day? Half? By the time I’ve clicked through a bunch of screens, there either isn’t a job posted at all or it’s not one I want. There’s a reason people are willing to pay $60 apiece for alternative sub apps, and it’s absolutely baffling to me that this app has so stubbornly refused to implement any of them.

Flexible work where and when you choose

I enjoy choosing where and when I work. The Frontline App allows me the flexibility to accept or decline a job based on my schedule for the week. I can take days or months off for travel by scheduling non-work days for an indefinite period and then resume work when I return. I prefer partial days so that I can go to workout in the mornings or socialize with friends. It’s a win, win situation for my schedule.

Only showing a few jobs

One school is missing out of my district. It went from full day jobs to only showing part day 1-2 hr jobs at one school and then none. I’ve checked all of my settings and I don’t have the school blocked.

HONEST Non Bot Review

This is pretty much the most useless app out there.

Jobs are “no longer available” when I’m on the app and an alert comes through in the fraction of a second it takes for the app to refresh.

Additionally, if the job actually appears, it’s “taken” in the same amount of time, yet refreshing the app several times still shows it as available.

This app isn’t even worth 1 star and IT STINKS that I have to rely on it for my livelihood. I wish I was one of this app’s developers and could get paid for useless performance.
