Delay is very noticeable.
Amazing app, and it would be a full-on 5 stars if it weren’t for the chat delay.
It’s about 4 seconds (edit to update that it’s more like 6-8 seconds behind) for me behind the official Twitch app (which is consistently about 1 second behind when using Twitch on a PC). Makes conversations a drag to follow as the flow is out of sync despite low latency.
I’ve had moments where a message just sits and spins with the loading animation, and it is then posted about a minute later. Internet connection on my end is fine and the device is good (iPhone 17 Pro Max, iOS 27.0.1). Just something that only happens with this app randomly.
I don’t expect it to be instant, but it really does hinder chats for those who participate in them often as you will always be behind everyone else, which creates confusion during conversations between those in chat and streamers (paired with the delay the streams are already usually set on).

Best Twitch App By Far
This is a fantastic app, it is objectively better than the official twitch app in pretty much every way. It has a ton of options to customize, many more than I anticipated. And it is all completely free. Thank you.
