Ads indefinitely halt video
Works well overall and the UI is decent, but over half the time an ad attempts to play the screen goes to black and attempts to load the ad indefinitely. Opening another stream or reloading the stream doesn’t seem to fix this. Only after a couple minutes of attempts will the stream resume and only after reloading or switching streams.

10/10 Love using this app I would like a way I could add multiple streams at once if that’s even possible but all in all I love this app.
latency
the chat features are great, but for video, there's a whole base 15-20 second latency at all times for any stream so it's almost unusable from a viewer's perspective.

This is the best alternative to the horrid official app, tons of features and customization settings. Overlay the PiP video from the official app and there’s no delay.
Could’ve have had a better app
It easily became my go-to app. If you’re someone like me who likes to see all the bttv/7tv emotes like widepeepohappy + all the classics, this app is for you, It makes the whole watching experience better, Theres also a better way to reply, past messages and more. I really like it. They have had some bugs in the past and some pop up here-and-there but the updates show they care and that’s appreciated :) very much :)

Latest update fixed some things as they were before though the channel search history is weird now. It searches by individual letters.

Note: The “Show historical recent messages” feature is currently broken and keeps chats from loading. The bug has been reported on github, hopefully there will be a fix but for now disable in Settings or try “Reconnect” from the … menu.

Audio and chat delay
There is a 15 second to 19 second chat and video latency/delay if you could please fix it that will be awesome

Recent Connection Issues
App has been working well for a while, but it refuses to connect to chat for the last week on iPhone, still works on iPad. Would love to see a fix, otherwise app is unusable.

What went wrong
All of the sudden, it CANNOT connect to chat rooms and I use this app once in a blue moon. These delayed ahh stream still seems to work at least. Might move on to something else honestly.
No option for changing the stream quality
The app is actually good. I’ve been using it for a couple of hours and everything is close to perfection, the only thing I would want to be added to this app is an option to change the video quality because I don’t want to waste my data watching everything in highest quality while 480p can do the work. I’m on this app for the chat, not the stream and my main focus is on the chat. So adding that feature would be a great deal for me!

Borderline unusable
If you want to actually participate in the chat, this app is currently unusable. Very frequently, messages you try sending just stall and do not send. Super frustrating and seemingly no interest in resolving the issue. It’s been this way for nearly a year. Avoid this.
Unresponsive Dev
Update: Dev won’t respond to feedback. In chat only mode, my phone gets really hot like it’s still streaming the video. Please fix!
The native Twitch app is garbage for mobile chatters. I use my TV for video and when in chat only mode, there is maybe 20% space allocated to actual chat. This app, aside from its many other features, fully dedicated the mobile screen when in chat only mode. Praise be the dev(s)!

Just what you'd want!
The app does everything it says it does perfectly, but not only that. In my opinion, it's options of viewing streams through full screen and varying options of chat and screen cross displaying is so refined compared to the official app that this becomes the go-to over the other regardless of third party emotes being missing. I highly recommend this to any Twitch user that wants a mobile viewing that can match a computer device viewing in a handheld experience.
