Finally have a heart rate monitor for gd

Simple HR Display

I simply wanted an app to display HR from my Morpheus chest strap that I could read without reading glasses. This does exactly that. I wouldn’t complain about a larger HR display but this one works for my aging eyes

Streaming HR data

The app does what it says on the box: captures HR (5s intervals) and streams it reliably.

Battery Life: On an old Apple Watch Series 7, 6hr takes ~25% of the battery, so roughly one charge per full day.

Polish: The app & website aren’t the most flashy, feature-laden creations of mankind, but they get the job they claim to do done.

Support: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Support team is quick, respectful, and helpful. I reached out with a request that many teams would’ve been annoyed by, and they offered explanations, work arounds, and help.

Streamer Here

I think I’ve been using pulsoid for well over five years now for heart rate on my Twitch streams. I researched all over the internet for the longest time to try and find the best one, and you were the easiest to set up. I used the waist band monitor before but it always fell down while exercising. Once you updated to connect to Apple Watches I was so happy!!! Thank you for sending out stream reports too! The updates over the years have improved significantly!

Apple Watch not working

I guess it might not be compatible with the 1st gen Apple Watch, despite it having the ability to measure heart rate. The app will not download on my watch, and even when I look in the Apple Watch app on my phone, pulsoid is nowhere to be found. Not in settings, not anywhere. Wondering if this is a known issue about this and if it’s fixable?
Edit: I appreciate the developer response! One day I’ll get a compatible device so I can use this app.

Response from developer

The app requires watchOS 6.2 or later, and the oldest compatible model is the Apple Watch Series 3, released in 2017.
