Game becomes impossible
Once you get to city 17/18 it becomes impossible to play on. Inspiration doesn’t generate enough to level up heroes. I’ve paid and paid and can’t move on. Have deleted the game unfortunately

Fun & Sad
I’ve been playing this game for years and it’s been fun. Unfortunately it is broken and I feel they don’t plan on fixing it. In game chat has people posting that they are working on fixes but still broke. it’s been over a year or more and nothing has got better. They have a more polished version of it called whiteout survival I believe. Same basic concept. I don’t think it’s as much fun. So if you download and play this game do not spend money in game and know that there are a lot of bugs once you get to the mining part of the game. Broke as it is I’m still playing but wanted to warn others. When they maintained the game 5 stars now I’ll have to give it 1. Even though I’d be sad, they should shut down the game if they are not going to fix it.

Fake, Not even close to what’s showing
Dude I download the app for my kid and this is app is just push for ads and purchases and what’s in pictures nothing real at all

U have to spend money to actually upgrade heroes fast enough i been playing this game for about a year now and i play it almost everyday an i only have one worker in all work areas like it takes so long like i cant believe the 4.8 stars!!!! look at the negative ones and an we all say the samething those are real one an there support team worthless I keep getting a black screen when collecting my rewards an they keep saying they fixed or it not happing an I have the screen record it just to prove the same thing I did week before

Mixed feelings
It’s pretty fun but hunters refuse to hunt if I’m offline which is super annoying
Boring + costs $$$ to play
All the cities are exactly the same & the game forces build in the same order. To keep going you have to constantly buy $7-14 packs and it gets more & more expensive as you progress.
Not as enjoyable anymore
This game was very enjoyable when I first started playing, however after coming back from a long break, I remember why I lost interest. The gameplay unfortunately gets to a point where it’s so hard to level up the heroes, which is required to further level up other buildings and acquire more resources, that it’s takes too long to progress and becomes boring. The only thing that makes it worth playing now are the mini games and events which you can actually make decent progress through. It would be great if the game developers made it easier to level up the heroes (instead of being nearly impossible to level up 5+ heroes once they hit level 40) without having to spend real money

Good, but Gets Greedy Fast
FINAL EDIT: Playing this game has destroyed my phone battery, and even though I really enjoyed the game itself, I completely regret ever playing it. Games that drain batteries so quickly should be prosecuted, because they’re literally stealing life away from the phone. Deleting game, and can’t replace phone for a long time. Thanks for nothing.
Edit: What did you guys do to the game that my battery can be at 50%, then I open this game and in less than 10 minutes my battery drains to 15%??? I really like the game for a lot of reasons. But this is getting to be *really shady* 😳
Original: I like the balance between the main city efforts and the side events. But as you make it through completing cities, you start to need new heroes to make each building generate enough resources to continue progressing.
At first, every hero gets unlocked pretty easily. But soon enough, not only does it take longer and longer to get hero cards, the red stuff to advance them, and the yellow stuff to raise their level, it starts to be impossible to get the first card of a hero to unlock it at all.
Now, every time I tap a building without that necessary hero, a little prompt to buy it pops up.
I’m sorry, but I will never pay for that.
You already have ways to make money with diamond packs, resources, and various no ads options, as well as just giving the option of getting rewards by choosing to watch ads.
But essentially *forcing* people to buy a “booster pack” to unlock heroes necessary to make your cities work at all is just over-the-top greedy.
I know you need to make money. But some of us literally do not have any to spare. And if you guys don’t consider this issue, eventually I won’t be able to play this game at all, which at least you make some ad revenue off of.
*Side Note: Why are the first few gameplay photos *NOT* of this game? Someone put the wrong photos in the game posting… 🤨

Ads are long
The game itself is fun, but the ads are now running two minutes (if not more). This is excessive, especially when you’re playing against the timer in the game.
Ads are becoming an issue
I’ve had this game for a few years now and is one of the few mobile games that I’ve really kept up with. The mini-games are diverse enough to be entertaining. That said, some of the ad lengths are getting ridiculous. Being forced to sit through two and a half minutes of unskippable ads is immensely frustrating, especially since thirty second ads used to be the norm.
