Our family has multiple person and business accounts with FBS. They are kind, helpful, informative, and the online banking option with the FBS app is a wonderful resource to help busy individuals/families with their banking needs!

I have dealt with Farmers State Bank since 2003 and still bank with them even after moving to Montana. The entire family and staff have been wonderful friends and it is a great privilege to continue with them, still taking care of my needs. A great bank to trust and work with.

Terrible following the update
Made a big deal about shutting down and doing a brand new update only for that update to be some of the worst interface I’ve seen. This looks and feels like a desktop version from the early 2010s trying to fit into a mobile version. The old version was perfectly functional and actually looked like an app. Now it looks like I log into a website within the app.

Annoyed
Every time I login it asked me to review the app. There were a lot of unnecessary changes and you complicated a simple app.
Great update!
While it took some adjusting, the new app is great! I love all the new features.

Honestly really hating the menu setup. The older one was easier to navigate and easier on the eyes

they updated the app 6/4/2026 and it’s horrible. it’s a mess, very confusing to work with, much more complicated compared to the last version, and downright frustrating. they should have fixed the bugs and left the look and layout of the app ALONE. it needs to be changed back immediately this is horrible

Good bank bad app
I love this bank, but the app is full of bugs and abrasive. It goes out it’s way to make it to where cannot save user name and password to phone. It hangs when you open the app and sometime will do Face ID and then not open my account at all. Locking the card on the app sometimes works, maybe someone needs to explain to me what locking the card is because I assumed it means people cannot pull money off my card but apparently not. Great bank buggy app. No stars if I had the choice for no stars

Frequent trouble opening
Multiple times when I open the app it says an “Error occurred. Please call for assistance.” I don’t need this during normal banking hours and it’s not clear if the app has crashed or what is happening. Refreshing the app does nothing.
Worst app ive ever used.
Honestly this app is garbage, it breaks every couple weeks and you have to uninstall and redownload, and set it all up over again. Literally any app or bank is than these.

Great, until it wasn’t
Currently, every time I try to open the app I’m met with a white screen. I’ve deleted and re-downloaded the app four times to no avail. All other apps on my phone properly work, so now I’m confused and frustrated as to why this will not work.
Logs me out and locks me out.
If I don’t use the app often it logs me out and locks me out. Inline verify is hard locked, Requiring a phone call to the main office with a 50% success rate of getting password enabled.
Only to have the problem repeat itself in the near future.
Im about ready to switch banks.

The apps needs the ability to write a title to transfers or give transfers descriptions

Never lets me log in
It works for awhile but then out of nowhere it will log me out and not let me log back in. This happened before and I had to change my password 😕.

I've been banking with FSB for years and I always used the old app for all my banking needs; mobile deposit, online transfers and just looking up my balances. The new app is so great and I love that it's customized to FSB. Everything is similar to the old app making it very easy to use!
