Excellent source on mobile phones while working in the field. Would recommend keeping a tablet with the app too just in case of any minor issues with your phone. I haven’t found a way to duplicate reports from mobile yet . I’m sure it’s an option somewhere. Keeps my hands free instead of having to tote a tablet up and down landfill slopes and makes for quick and easy uploading of photos for documentation . Hasn’t failed me yet in two years

Service has gone downhill drastically from what it once was when this platform first started
I am an early user of the platform as I have been using it for over 10 years for a local government natural resources agency. I appreciate the customizable data tracking apps, and ability to upload and download data. However, every year there has been significant pricing increases and changes to their policy regarding device logins. We have been priced out of using this platform as the cost has increased by well over an order of magnitude. Furthermore their billing department has abysmal service. They charged our credit card when they were supposed to receive ACH payment and they refused to reverse this erroneous charge. We are looking at alternatives even though we have been a long time client. I miss the early days when the support staff and customer service was exceptional.

Game Changer
This app has made it so easy to get the most up to date information in the field, removing all the double entry which has helped increase productivity.
Maps integration
I have a suggestion that I believe could improve this app and the efficiency of the employee.
After using Fulcrum for six months for and with my employer, it seems that this app could use a plug-in for Maps or add navigation to Fulcrum so we don’t need to jump back-and-forth through apps it would make so much sense if this was possible.
Being able to see the polls on Apple CarPlay would make for a much safer and fluent travels.
Overall, the app has improved a lot in six months and does not crash as frequently.

Update Lag
The recent 5.26.0 update has cause extreme lag times with syncing records. With constant updates and multiple devices using the same app, the lag in sync time is causing issues with over writing joint records.

Absolute pain to work with
The app constantly crashes at random for absolutely no reason. If it crashes while you’re in the middle of editing a record, any changes are not saved, so you better remember what you edits you made! It also freezes EVERY time I go back into the app. The keyboard also typically freezes too (this is ONLY an issue with Fulcrum. This never happens in any other app I use). If you use this app for business purposes (like me), please, for the sake of your and your coworkers’ sanity, do not use this app.

Not good
I do not like the new look of it. It’s harder to see the road and road names. The houses no longer have addresses on them. I preferred the older look. From a business standpoint it was clearer and easier to look at.
Buggy and expensive.
This guys sting you on price, and regularly release updates with major bugs and issues that cost your company time and money. Would not recommend.
Laggy
The recent 3.2.17 update has made the app extremely laggy :(
Great app
Great app. Have been using it for 8 years and haven’t found anything better. Like that it keep’s improving and the developers are quite “agile and responsive” with suggestions.
Best Field Data Collection App
I have used this app on close to a hundred projects and have found it to be flexible, reliable, cost effective and very easy to learn. My company’s field staff are very happy with the capability it gives them.
Hard to Figure Out - Impossible to Cancel Subscription
I downloaded this app to collect data for a course. The app is hard to figure out, I ended up using a different data collection method. When notified that my plan would be renewed and I would be billed, cancelling the subscription was almost impossible. Their mobile website also sucks.
Incredible for offline data collection
We use this app to collect data about our water well projects out in the middle of the African jungles. It integrates really well with the website version and syncs well between our various users. I was looking for something like this for a long time and I’m so glad I finally found it! Keep improving it but we love it! WWFA

Sync Button
The updated version’s sync button is tiny compared to the previous one. Its causing emotional distress because I’ve just become aware of my fat fingers.
Great lightweight app
Fulcrum does everything I need a data collection tool to do without locking me into a large back-end system to get full productivity.
