Someone said it 4 years ago - I didn’t listen. The app does nothing to help you during your trip. The paper map has the pickup times. That’s what you need. If they ever add that to the app or GPS maybe then it’s worth it.

Useless. It was even the wrong layout compared to what the bus drove. Spent precious vacation data on downloading only to find out you got to download more inside the app and it’s hardly even usable. Cannot recommend this app, get the free brochure from the driver instead. Much better!
Poor option
DO NOT do the waiheke hop on hop off tour - it will waste your time. For a bus service run by the ferry company, it is truly abysmal. The bus does not time with the ferry services at all. You have to wait at least 20min after getting off the ferry for the bus. Or 50min if you are unlucky - as it only comes to each location once per hour. The bus also arrives 1min after the ferry is due to depart so you are forced to wait at least 29min for the next ferry service. Totally useless.
