Nicely paced

I got this in addition to a few other ones by the same maker because I like their formats, graphics and simple activities that engage my grandson, do not overwhelm or seem confusing to him. It is perfect- teaches him sentence structure which he needs help with in his speech habits, yet kind of fun too. The different levels are good when you need to change. We are very satisfied with this one.

What happened?

I have used several Hamaguchi apps and really liked them but this one has failed. In recent months after 1 sentence it crashes. Very frustrating and makes it very unlikely that I will continue to pay for apps from this developer.

We are not sure why this happened to you but of course we want to make it right even though it was some time ago. Have you tried redownloading the app or updating? Something clearly went wrong and we apologize for the hassle. This app has been updated since this posting so hopefully it is working perfectly for you now.

Loved it and now I don’t

My students loved the app and it was great until this week. I work online and now when I share it to my student screen it crashes. Very disappointed as are my students. Wasted money

Too much math!!!!

I use this app a lot with my students, but it is ridiculous that every time I want to email or print their scores, I have to do two digit math to prove I am an adult! 😡
Also, I have kids who struggle with using “I”. It would be awesome if there was an emoji picture we could use to represent the child and put them into the sentence to work on that concept.

Thanks for posting your feedback but please understand that APPLE requires that all links within an app that is rated for a child has a "parental link" so you'd either have to reenter your user/password OR do a simple math problem, etc. It is required. In terms of using "I" it wouldn't work on this app unless we completely retooled it. Instead--please check out our upcoming app "Fun with Who, What & Where" which also allows the user to upload a picture of themselves performing different actions as one of the 5 activities. Look for that in a few months.

Can't download

The app won't download and the contact address for support won't accept any more emails as inbox is full. Wondering if I have been scammed.

Record playback not working

Great app! I see that the bug was fixed for record playback but mine does not work. I haven't used the app for awhile, this seems to be the only glitch.

Inconsistent performance

The app is great, the concept is great, if only it works consistently. The screen tends to freeze when we get to the video part, or it will play the video in the background while the screen is white.

Please fix the coding. Thank you.

I loved the ability to pause and replay the same scene for repetition and extra practice. Bring it back...please! :)

Need to fix!

I love this app however since the latest iPad update it no longer show the videos. Also it would be great if it could be expanded to include plural subjects and verb forms.

(Always email us at info@ hamaguchiapps.com if you have any further issues btw) We have posted updates and will be doing so again this fall of 2018. In regard to your suggestion about plural subjects and verb forms, we agree! This would be a terrific addition. Unfortunately we are maxed out with the memory load on this app due to the amount of videos and content. So if we were to do this, we would need to make a separate app rather than add content. retired SLP

This is an excellent app for children with Autism & Apraxia. Since I am retired I volunteer and have found this app to be particularly useful with a child who is severely Apraxic/Autistic who is gaining oral output while using ACC. It provides such wonderful incremental input with great repetition options. Thanks so much!

Great for learning to putting 2-3 words together

I really like using this app in speech therapy for kids that are just learning to put 2-3 words together. One of my favorite parts is that it is not continually responsive to their touching parts of the screen. They learn quickly to make their selection and then wait to see what happens. Nonverbal kids love seeing their selections put into action.

I love this app. I use it in therapy with my students who have autism, apraxia and language delays. They all love the animations and structure that enables them to make longer sentences. Thanks for another winner!
