User reviews

Literally the best data mining app 👏👏

They know more about me than I know about me which means many many others will flood my fake email address with lots of nonsense and grifter offers. Truly zero concern for the privacy of their users But you did motivate me to leave this glowing review for which I’m glad I paid zero as its in no way worth 9.99 every 2 years 🥲🥲

Thank you for sharing your concerns about privacy. We want to assure you and all our users that our app does not engage in data mining or share your personal information with third parties. User privacy is actually one of our core values. All health data, habit tracking information, and CrossFit workout metrics remain securely on your device or are secured when synced to your personal account on our backend. We don't sell user data, send marketing emails from third parties, or provide access to your information for advertising purposes. Our subscription model is designed to sustainably support ongoing development of quality features, not to monetize your data. We'd be happy to clarify any specific privacy concerns you might have or direct you to our detailed privacy policy which outlines exactly how your information is handled. We appreciate the opportunity to address these misconceptions and remain committed to providing a trustworthy health and fitness tool that respects user privacy.

Asks for a review before the first use!

🤦‍♂️

Response from developer

Thank you for this valuable feedback, Crazy Psychiatrist. You make a fair point about the timing of our review prompt. The early rating option is intended to help with app growth for users who are already familiar with our health tracking service and willing to provide feedback. This initial prompt is easily dismissible, and our system is already designed to not show another review request until after you've had meaningful usage of the app's functional health features. We greatly value authentic feedback from users who have had time to experience our habit tracking, CrossFit workout logging, and health monitoring tools. Your review has helped us better understand how our prompts are perceived by new users. If you'd be willing to give our health and fitness app another try, we'd appreciate your thoughts after you've had a chance to explore the habit-building and CrossFit training features we offer. We're committed to continuous improvement based on user insights like yours!

Bait and Switch

The developer ran a promotion of lifetime premium for $0.00, then disregarded best practices by denying users the ability to secure the promotion with an AppStore restorable In App Purchase (IAP). 95%+ of app promotions are facilitated via an AppStore restorable IAP to protect users and alleviate unnecessary data tracking and customer support issues that occupy their team’s time. So, why would a dev go against the norm??

Dishonest devs frequently disregard IAPs for promos, leveraging the tactic to build their user base only to later impose subscription fees, knowing that users have no recourse. Running a promotion via an IAP requires minimal effort on the dev’s part. This manipulative practice is all too common and devs that treat users this way should not be trusted with your money or your data.

All of that said, mistakes happen. If this was a mistake on the dev’s part, and they resolve the issue by providing users that took advantage of the promo with an IAP, I will change my rating and review accordingly.

Response from developer

Thank you sincerely for your thoughtful feedback regarding the lifetime premium promotion. We deeply value our early users who helped shape the app in its initial stages. We want to clarify two key points: First, all users who claimed the lifetime premium promotion are guaranteed to maintain their full pro access permanently, at no cost, ever. This is our unwavering commitment. Second, as the app grows, we plan to implement an IAP for lifetime offering where future lifetime free promotions will be properly run through the App Store's IAP framework with restorable purchases. Your feedback helps make our app better. We're excited to continue developing features that serve our community of users, including our valued lifetime members.

Has Potential

My original review was fairly negative due to the lack of optional HealthKit integration and dark mode, which are both standard in 2025. That said, there are many positive features about the app, and I applaud the dev’s response to my feedback. I look forward to monitoring the app’s progress and using it with upcoming updates.

Response from developer

Thank you for taking the time to provide such detailed feedback about our fitness and health tracking app - we appreciate your thoughtful review. You've raised valuable points about HealthKit integration and dark mode support. We definitely understand how manual data entry can be cumbersome for tracking daily health habits when there are automated alternatives available, and we agree that dark mode has become an expected feature for modern functional fitness apps. We already have plans in our upcoming releases for both HealthKit integration and dark mode support as part of our development roadmap. These features are priorities for us as we strive to make building healthy habits and maintaining fitness discipline easier for our users. We're committed to implementing them in the foreseeable future. Your feedback helps validate the importance of these additions to our user experience. We'd love to have you try the app again once these updates are released. If you'd like to stay informed about our progress in improving your functional fitness journey, you can follow our updates in the App Store or join our health-focused community on our website or social media. Thanks again for your constructive feedback - it's invaluable in helping us improve the app for all users committed to their health and fitness goals.
