Had for years…no longer works.
The website makes it look really new and advanced but the interface is the same one for years and years. Unfortunate it doesn’t look like it even works on IOS — won’t backup or even think about backing up when logged in.
Deleted 10 years of photos with no warning!
DO NOT use G Cloud. I had been a subscribing customer for over ten years, when all of sudden I tried to login and couldn’t access my photos and videos. When I emailed support to ask what the issue was, I was told that all of my data had been deleted because I missed two payments. The reason I missed the payments is because I changed banks and forgot to update the new details. But I received no emails, calls or any communication whatsoever from G-Cloud to explain that I needed to update my payment in order to keep the storage.
Over ten years of photos and loyalty to G-Cloud and this is how I was treated! It’s appalling and I am seeking legal advice regarding compensation. Avoid at all costs!

They got rid of all of my storage without any notification
Long story short, I had been using this since 2013. I paid like $20 for permanent storage. When it was time to switch from Android to iPhone, I probably hadn't logged into my account for a year, this was like 2017-20 somewhere in there. They deleted my entire account and their customer service was atrocious. I later noticed, they switched from giving people only permanent paid storage to monthly plans to keep up with the times. Don't give your money to them, they've already proven they will nuke your whole backup with no notification and all your memories will be lost forever. There are far more reputable, trustworthy companies you can get cloud storage from.

I wanted to access my account from a few years back only to find out it was deleted. All those years, memories, and money I paid for storage are gone. Save your money and memories and avoid this app!

This app is a scam!!!! I had this app years ago and decided to give it another try. It has gotten worse they should be sued. I’m going to file a complaint against them because they took my money and deleted all of my photos that I can’t get back. I am very upset because customer service is a joke they do not care about one’s important photos being lost due to negligence on their end. I work in customer service and would never treat my customers this way!!!!

Ive used gcloud for years and spent a bunch of money on it. I was incarcerated for 11 months, get out and try to renew my subscription and it just says theres no account. Tried emailing twice, still no response.

Had this app for 5 years and because I switched phones and forgot to download the app again on my new phone. ALL MY MEMORIES WERE DELETED DUE TO 60 DAYS INACTIVITY!!! 5 years of pictures videos and memories of my children because this app terminated my account without so much as a warning. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! I spent 3.99 every month and watched the prices go higher and higher and then they cancel you if you don’t or forget to pay!! Stick with Google cloud trust me you are better off using their cloud plans!!! Also f U gcloud!!!

I purchased the lifetime membership early in 2015. But it’s been two years since used it last time. Last week I wanted to find the photos the first time we took our dog home (2016), and I found my email account was invalid to log in. I panicked and was depressed. I tried to connect the service team of G Cloud. The service team replied me the next day and told me they are taking care of my issue. I received another email today informing that I can log into my account now and let me keep them posted with the results. I got all the old photos back!!! Thank you Thomas Parker from the Technical Support for your immediate action on my ticket, which really delighted my recent life!

I can’t even access my account without the app closing on me, with that being said I decided to use my web browser, however I can’t make it past the login page. It continuously asks me for a “coupon code” but I’m just trying to see if I have photos in this app TO BEGIN WITH. It won’t even give me a preview of my account before it starts begging to have access to my wallet
