What's New in GainLogger

3.5

August 5, 2026

3.5.0 — Your coach levels up Training is easier to stick with when something is keeping score. This release turns your coach into a real progress companion and adds share cards for your best work. YOUR COACH Your coach now has a level, and it climbs every time you train. • Five looks to unlock, at levels 2, 8, 18, and 32 • A progress bar on the home screen shows exactly how far you are from the next one • Free accounts reach level 3 and the second look — the card says so plainly instead of pretending the bar is still moving • Pro accounts keep climbing all the way to the fifth REMINDERS ON YOUR TERMS Nudges now adapt to how often you actually train, and you decide how loud they get. • Gentle, Standard, or Off — set it once in notification settings • Cadence follows your real training rhythm instead of a fixed schedule • A lapse reminder only lands when you have genuinely fallen off, not mid-streak SHARE YOUR WORK • Turn a finished session into a share card, with your own photo as the background • Share a template the same way, so friends can see the full plan PLANNING A SESSION • Templates now show an estimated duration before you start • Muscle-group chips make it obvious what a template actually hits PRIVACY AND SAFETY • Workout data and health data now have separate, explicit consent — you can agree to one without the other • A short form-and-safety notice appears before your first workout • Shared templates no longer expose your working weights; sharing a plan shares the plan, not your numbers • Accepting a shared template no longer overwrites the original owner's copy ALSO FIXED • Back now works after opening the app from a link or notification, instead of dead-ending • The upgrade screen can always be dismissed, including when opened from a link • The annual plan's savings figure is now calculated from the real prices • New sign-ups no longer get stuck in a repeating onboarding questionnaire • Templates and lists load faster WHAT GAINLOGGER DOES GainLogger is a workout tracker for people who log every set.
