App never works, they have done no update in 2 years. Not worth buying light without usable app.
“Log in” button greyed out
I can’t even log in. I’ve chosen my region and entered my username and pw, and agreed to the terms and the “Log In” button is still greyed out. Please fix this so I can use the lamp!
Should have just made a remote for this.
This app is GLITCHING all the time. The lamp is always out of sync with it as well. They should have made a remote for it. Also this app isn’t even made for android phone owners. Great lamp. Terrible app
Horrific experience, no more rotating laser
Please fix this issue. The app is completely messed up and I am unable to even see the slider for rotation. The color and laser tabs do not even change the UI or function. The little toggle switch that is unlabeled bricks the device and requires a hard reset to reconnect with the app again. It never did this before. Help

App issues and noisy
The app is so bad. I have to close and open it again every time I make a single change it’s the worst! The lamp itself is so noisy too! How is it supposed to be peaceful when the turning mechanism is clicking away. I have to have the turn function off because it’s so loud! Overall very very bad

Heres 1 star for making me create an account to use a LAMP.
Terrible app
The light itself isn’t bad for the money, but this app is just epic levels of bad. Whoever designed this app, and the software on the device needs to have an IQ test preformed. Also having to sign in to use the product is just their way of fishing your info. Bad bad, will be switching to something better soon

The colours from the projector are not changing at all when trying to control from the app

this app still hasn’t fixed the issue for those of us who cannot switch our lamps from 5GHz to 2.4Ghz it’s so stupid that unless you switch it you can’t even connect the dang device to your phone terrible app.
Hate the recent update
Since the recent update nothing has worked properly. Can’t change the colors anymore at all. Not sure who approved this update but you basically ruined the product.
love apps for products that don’t work
paid sooo much money for 4 of these lamps (2x projectors and 2x moons) and they were really great for about 1 year. now the app is so dysfunctional that they’re essentially worthless (despite the lamps themselves being in basically new condition). i had my moon lamps set to flash in the morning as an “alarm”, which was great until something changed and suddenly it was going off in the middle of the night. unfortunately the app is so broken that it’s now stuck like that forever (the tabs for the timers, colors, and scenes are simply not operable) and they are just unplugged dusty plastic spheres in my house. the galaxy projector fortunately still looks ok on the default settings (controllable with the button on the side of the projector itself), but i wish i could have it on a timer so i don’t have to turn it on/off every day… since that’s one of the features i thought i was paying for when i bought it for $100+. they were incredibly cool while they lasted. wish that had been a little longer, but it seems like nobody has bothered updating the app in a while despite the costly price of the associated products (that are still for sale)!!!

unable to connect to galaxy bluetooth star laser / speaker
The device consistantly fails connecting through app. Device will connect to phone bluetootb but fails through app.

What the heck? I just want to control my lamp, not login to a useless service. It used to work fine.
Add 5 ghz !
Such a stupid development , who making app that supports only 2.4 ghz network!? We renting a house and we don’t have access to WiFi settings!

The app has worked fine with the lamp for awhile now and we’ve had it for a couple years now but all of a sudden the app is really glitched out for me and I’m not able to turn the laser brightness down. I checked to make sure there wasn’t an update and there wasn’t so I tried deleting and reinstalling. It gave me the option finally for the laser but it wouldn’t actually change, switched it to the color and back, and it stayed on the color never went to the laser setting.

great light but the app could use some updates
i got this galaxy light projector for christmas and it’s been my favorite thing! it truly helps living in the midwest and it being dark majority of the time.
however i do not like the app what’s so ever. the laser dial for the stars doesn’t even show the green stars until the dial is half way over then they’re super bright. i feel like they should gradually get brighter not work half way through. hopefully that makes sense!

Does not work with Google Home
I was very misled when I purchased some Galaxy Lamp products for my family. I thought they were supposed to be smart devices that would connect with my Google Home but they do not. The only way they work is through this app or Luminary. Even after linking those apps to Google Home the Galaxy Lamp devices don’t show up in the Google Home app.

App doesn’t work properly
Before the update the app used to work properly now it just shuts down and doesn’t link to device. Please fix this.
