Supports iCloud Photos

The app supports iCloud Photos

Response from developer

Hello, Just reaching out in case you own the Premium version you get lifetime updates so the app received full iCloud Photos support with the subsequent updates.

Broken Links

Gave it a try and was even going to get the paid version, but the link to buy the app is broken inside the app. On top of that, there is an offer to get 50% off by sharing the app with a friend. When I shared it, the link that was sent to the friend was a different app entirely for wallpapers.

The app itself has potential and it’s a nice simple interface that is good to go through photos quickly, but you can only select like 5 photos on the free version and no way to get the paid version. So basically useless in its current state.

Hello, Just reaching out since in case you're a Premium use what you paid for at first you still own the app forever. All the issues you mentioned have been addressed since then and we'd love for you to give it another go.

Does not work with iCloud Photos

If it worked with iCloud Photos, I would rate it 5 stars, but it’s basically useless as more than half my photos are not visible.

Hello, Just reaching out in case you bought the Premium version you still have lifetime benefits and the app has full support for iCloud photos videos and a plethora of other updates that you may own.

Très bien

In French please !

Doesn’t load iCloud Photos

The app is pretty much useless if you have photos backed up on iCloud.

No ads, but plenty of annoyances

The app unfortunately doesn’t offer any way for you to test it before paying, which is odd. If you’re going to force people to pay to use it before they even see the interface, just post it as a paid app up-front.

In any case, let me explain what you’re getting: You are shown monthly grouping of photos in your photo album. You tap to view one photo from that month that the app thinks you might not want to keep. You then tap to queue the photo for deletion or tap to keep it. You can also swipe forward and back through the photos until you run out of photos the app wants you to consider. Only then, or if you try to go back to the monthly grouping, are you asked if you really want to delete the photos you selected earlier. You then have to tap through to each month and repeat the process.

The app is not polished yet. There are typos in the interface and the UX/UI feels like a placeholder.

Why are the photos it chooses grouped by month? Why can’t you just show me each photo in a constant stream with the date listed for when the photo was taken? Why not show me some more embedded info about the photo if I want to see it so I can make better choices? Why can’t I see all of the photos you’ve decided to show me as small thumbnails in a scrolling view if I want to quickly look for photos to delete. Why can’t I multi-select small thumbnails to queue them all for deletion rather than tap through each one, one-at-a-time?

Also, the UI elements at the bottom can be hard to see or read because there’s very little contrast. Put a background behind the settings, stats, etc. buttons so they stand out more.

What I find really annoying is that every time you delete photos from a month, the app asks you if you like it. Stop. Follow Apple’s conventions and only prompt for a review once per version if I have the appropriate system setting selected.

This app does fill a gap in the current iOS Photos app toolset, so I’m happy to give the dev some money. I also really appreciate no info is collected or used to track me. I wish more devs did that. However, this app needs some polish before it gets to 5-star status.

Poor app

Downloaded app to try it out said it was $4.99 but popped up at $6.99 had to give it full access to my photos before it would display anything in the gallery - lists them by yr then by month so went into the oldest on and it gave me a black screen that I could not swipe or do anything with - it finally came up with a date and time but nothing visible - went to another month and it showed a photo that was too small to assess and allowed me to swipe to get to next photo but it was slow and lacking in detail. I would NOT pay $2.99 for this app and would certainly not pay $6.99. Next step after review is delete the app.
