Very fun but…
All of to say there is a lot of grind.
Difficulty Scaling is Broken
Don’t get me wrong, this game is absolutely fantastic. It’s addictive and so fun, and I would play it over and over.
The point I am trying to make is that you essentially have to be a god at this game from the very beginning if you don’t want to get screwed over in the long run. At the start of the game, everything is affordable and easy to dev for. As the game goes on, the console’s become more expensive, not a surprise to anybody. But they get ridiculously expensive really fast. The Game Box is like 60,000 dollars or something. At that point in the game, you don’t really have that much money to spend. Even if you are rich enough to buy it, you probably don’t have the money to immediately make a game for it, and the consoles only get more expensive from there.
If you want to avoid this, you need to be able to know which game combinations go together, where to allocate your points, and have really good staff members. Chances are, this isn’t that hard to do, and this problem has an easy fix: if the consoles come out either cheaper, or further apart from each other, I would have no issues with this game.
Other than that, this is a five star game, and I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who is reading this review and thinking about getting the game. Just learn the strats first.
