Timeless Classic

Saw this while browsing Apple Arcade and remembered playing it years ago. It’s still as fun as it was back then. It would be good to see an update with current consoles but what you get here is still more than enough

Won the grand prize and didn’t get my $1 mill

Whyyyy I grinded ):

Very easy game

Very very easy, then boring

Relaxing

Very fun and it’s got a lot of little things to it

YAY

Fun and relaxing

remind me of punch club on steam in a way kind of like a auto battler

Fun, but too much RNG

Enjoying the game, core gameplay loop is okay. A bit repetitive. Also some features are really annoying like option to upgrade office comes around randomly it feels like. If i say no first time i don’t know when it’ll ask me again. Also, anything involving pick a character to develop feels so unpredictable. I can spend 3mil on a 300 coding/300 creativity character just for them to give me an 8 fun 3 creativity proposal. Feels very unfair. Finally getting a hardware engineer required googling. in game doesn’t teach you anything

Difficulty Scaling is Broken

Don’t get me wrong, this game is absolutely fantastic. It’s addictive and so fun, and I would play it over and over.

The point I am trying to make is that you essentially have to be a god at this game from the very beginning if you don’t want to get screwed over in the long run. At the start of the game, everything is affordable and easy to dev for. As the game goes on, the console’s become more expensive, not a surprise to anybody. But they get ridiculously expensive really fast. The Game Box is like 60,000 dollars or something. At that point in the game, you don’t really have that much money to spend. Even if you are rich enough to buy it, you probably don’t have the money to immediately make a game for it, and the consoles only get more expensive from there.

If you want to avoid this, you need to be able to know which game combinations go together, where to allocate your points, and have really good staff members. Chances are, this isn’t that hard to do, and this problem has an easy fix: if the consoles come out either cheaper, or further apart from each other, I would have no issues with this game.

Other than that, this is a five star game, and I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who is reading this review and thinking about getting the game. Just learn the strats first.
