This app lies
It has absolutely no plants I need, it’s incredibly difficult to use. The total was more than what it says it is.
Good for Garden Views Through the Seasons
I so wanted this to be the perfect garden app. It really could be if they added a couple functions. They have a great selection of plants, shrubs, and trees. They allow you to upload a photo of your garden and add plants, the app creates a list of the plants you used (common names or latin), and you can see the design through the seasons.
Now, please add the ability to turn that design into a plantable plan - or from a plan into a 3-D view - either would be 💓

Mobile is terrible
I paid 30 bucks for this and the mobile version is awful. Read a review that said desktop is much better. In the days of phones, we should be able to use a better app, but I’ll give the desktop a try
Paid for subscription that I can’t access on my iPad
I paid for a subscription on my phone ($30 I believe) and it’s not being recognized through my app on my iPad. It didn’t require me to create a login to pay so I assumed it would automatically update through my Apple ID. Apparently not and I refuse to pay twice. I was excited to use this app for my garden designs but I’m not going to be confined to only doing it on my phone. Waste of money and time

Awful
Used to be good. It’s unusable now though and a complete waste of money.
Difficult to Use/ JK
I’m going to keep my bad review below because I should be punished for such a bad take on such a great app. I will say that I was having a very hard time on my phone but once I realized I can use it on my desktop it was a game changer.
I do landscaping for a living and this saves me so much time and effort. I can upload a clients house and lay out my entire plan in minutes to send with my estimate. This really is a great idea and it should have a much higher rating.
I just started to “use” this and I already hate it. It’s difficult to adjust where I want things to go. I can’t get straight lines for when I change the ground type. There is no mulch. I tried to make do with the black gravel but I’m all over the place when filling it in and I get a green dotted line that I can’t seem to adjust so half of my flower bed has the old mulch color. Really disappointed, and I’ll be canceling this today.

Keeps crashing
This app keeps crashing on me. Sometimes I’ll add my additions to an image and it freezes and I can’t continue, sometimes it just reverts back to the original image. I also found it doesn’t always save my project. It says “saved” but then I hit open and there isn’t anything there.
A couple other items of note:
1. Textures need more options. There isn’t even mulch. (But they do have meadow, odd since mulch would probably get more use)
2. I don’t feel like there is enough options under structures. I wish they had more colors to choose from in the few structures they have.
3. I wan’t to be able to add a hedge and what they have just doesn’t work right.
4. There isn’t enough plants and varieties of plants to choose from.
I really wanted this app to work well. I like that it’s not a subscription. I’m so sick of every app wanting a monthly subscription… ridiculous!
I hope they fix the bugs and start adding more options.

Wonderful wonderful app!!! They have come a long way with their app features and function. AMAZING customer support. If you have a question they get back to you right away!
There is a wide selection of plants and the graphics are perfect for the application. Using your own image as the background helps to create ideas on the fly that I can show to my clients. As a future landscape architect, this app really allows me to explore garden design and share that exploration with others.

Great for visualizing garden design using own photos
I love this app! Have spent hours on it, varying the sizes and colors of different plants to visualize my garden design with tons of my own landscape pictures. This app even shows you what your garden will look like during different months of the year.
Not enough plant species
Great app in concept. But there are not enough plants to make it worth the expense. Not even close.

Used this to plan my new shrubs 3 years ago. It was so successful I added shrubs in the back of my house as well. I have gotten so many compliments on my gardens since then, and everything looks beautiful now that it’s growing in!
Useful!
It isn’t free but I find it worth the price for visualizing plants in a space. It does freeze up some but I am not having the problems others have mentioned. I would love more plants native to the U.S. Mid-Atlantic states.

You’ll end up spending like $20 to get all the plants. Hire a graphics designer to make the plants. I don’t think this app is ready to be released yet. It’s an amazing idea but please please keep working on it.
Can’t import an image
There isn’t a way to import your own image to start creating your design. Kind of defeats the whole point of the app.
App keep freezing and won’t save designs
This is a great app in theory but not if you can’t save your design! Wish I read the reviews before I purchased. $19 down the drain. Not happy!

Great app
The developers describe it as simple and powerful and that’s true. It allows you to use your own existing photos of your backgrounds, or take new photos, and then position plants and landscaping on these to visualise and create garden designs. Thanks also to the developer for the great communication and quick fix when I encountered a prob. I’ve been really happy with this app.

Greedy
Paid $3.99 to unlock additional features but when I tried to use “upload your own photo” it wanted to charge me another $3.99. A ripoff.
Useless
Most of the time the app won’t open and when it does, there are very limited functions without being asked for more money. Shame as it has potential.
Not up front
I only downloaded this app to see what my landscape would look like! Didn’t tell me I had to pay to upload a picture of my place. Until I had the app installed! Bye!
