BEST DASH CAMERAS OUT THERE FOR QUALITY AND SIZE!!!!!!! BUT I AM SEVERELY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE APP CONNECTIVITY WHEN I USE THE APP TO DOWNLOAD FOOTAGE FROM THE DASH CAM MINI 3 PLEASE FIX THE DOWNLOAD ISSUES IT IS BEYOND SLOW AND HALF THE TIME THE INTERNET FAILS TO CONNECT PLEASE PLEASE FIX THIS..

Absolutely hate myself for this purchase
I thought I would try to get a more “higher quality” dashcam this time and got the DC Mini3, although it’s small and I didn’t expect it to be perfect, I can’t even get a video from the thing, the app doesn’t detect my cam anymore and even when it does, it usually takes 20 minutes just to clip and export a 20 second video on data oit home wifi if it even works, because the last few times the camera connected I waited 10 minutes then it told me “export failed” and would not let me retry.

Not great!
It takes forever to download clips to my phone from the app, looses connection. Paid a lot of money to have the dash camera that you have a difficult time removing videos from. It’s easier just to take the memory card out and upload to a computer.

Great car CAMERA with a lot of functions and helps also against warning of Collision.
Good for larger towns
This app is good if you are trying to find larger towns, but some smaller towns or less known attractions are just not available. it makes it a longer process to program a route using this app since you search and it’s not found then you have to manually go into the GPS unit and type it in to add to the route.

Absolutely worthless
I have an M4 iPad Air and an iPhone 17 Pro. This app is impossible to use. Can’t pair. Pop the sd card out if you need to get data but this app wasted every second I tried to use it. To the point I’ll never buy another garmin anything.

I was looking for a dash cam with 24hr recording for my trip from California to Colorado. I purchased and returned 3 different cameras , not because of camera quality but because of the junk app. Pricey cameras with junk apps.
I was about to give up on 24 hr monitoring and found this Garmin . Both the camera and the app is excellent ! I am very satisfied with this app to view the recordings and store them in the vault .

good dashcam but terrible app
I love my garmin dashcam but this app is honestly so stupid. We can’t access or watch videos unless the car is on and cam is connected, and it always says it’s connecting to wifi but it never does which means the videos won’t load.
Makes life a lot easier
With the app you can search find and send your next destination right to the garmin. The searching is what you would expect from a modem gps phone app, as you type addresses pop up right away and when it does you just hit it and send to device. Done. No more typing on gps screen and then hitting search while you hope it works out. 100% the best upgrade you can do. Only 4 stars though because that’s all it does. Nothing else. No route planning, traffic, construction all need a lot of work. But as far as using it as an interface instead of the gps. Chefs kiss.
