Reliable but super slow to view and download
Had the tantrum and the mini both on the same car very reliable occasionally format, hard hard drive or rather the SD card works great the only thing I hope is the developers see this review is a really should have an option to have the recordings broken up into chunks like five minutes so you can view them more quickly if you need to on the side of the road versus coming home where you have a high-speed Wi-Fi I know you can trim the video record recordings, but even that takes for like 10 minutes it’s that’s the only real problem . The app is extremely slow to view the videos because the videos are so large since it’s one continuous recording what could be 45 minutes long versus most WebCams in cars will break it up in the five or 10 minute chunks and have like a backup overlay or nothing’s

BEST DASH CAMERAS OUT THERE FOR QUALITY AND SIZE!!!!!!! BUT I AM SEVERELY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE APP CONNECTIVITY WHEN I USE THE APP TO DOWNLOAD FOOTAGE FROM THE DASH CAM MINI 3 PLEASE FIX THE DOWNLOAD ISSUES IT IS BEYOND SLOW AND HALF THE TIME THE INTERNET FAILS TO CONNECT PLEASE PLEASE FIX THIS..

Absolutely hate myself for this purchase
I thought I would try to get a more “higher quality” dashcam this time and got the DC Mini3, although it’s small and I didn’t expect it to be perfect, I can’t even get a video from the thing, the app doesn’t detect my cam anymore and even when it does, it usually takes 20 minutes just to clip and export a 20 second video on data oit home wifi if it even works, because the last few times the camera connected I waited 10 minutes then it told me “export failed” and would not let me retry.

Not great!
It takes forever to download clips to my phone from the app, looses connection. Paid a lot of money to have the dash camera that you have a difficult time removing videos from. It’s easier just to take the memory card out and upload to a computer.
