There is too much clutter and the app immediately pushes you into an expensive subscription.
This app started off fine. It does exactly what you expect, which is give you a series of conversation prompts. However, the second time I opened it, I couldn’t find anything useful. It gave me jillions of lists of questions that were too specialized and not what I wanted. Then it started to cut off the lists after ten questions. After that it wanted a subscription of $4 per month, which is ridiculous. I removed it from my phone immediately. It feels like the developers knew how to write a good app but then got too greedy. Don’t waste your time.

The App Isn't The Issue
I see a ton of comments mentioning how divisive this is. That the mentioning of race means perpetuating it. Unfortunately white people are simply too uncomfortable to even discuss the issue because it makes them feel some kinda way about the history of White dominated America. Taking on guilt no one asked them to take on. Many of the comments, coming from what I can only surely bet aro coming from white people, said talking about racism keeps it alive. Here's the thing. If not talking about racism actually worked. Don't you think the issue would have been fixed hundreds of years ago when my family were slaves banned from even thinking about equality? But banning it then didn't work and banning it now won't work. Either way this is a good idea.

Really?
I only downloaded this app so that I could write a review on this. I think it is sad that conversation has become a lost art and that there should even be a need for an app of this type; giving people scripts to use instead of these people having the listening ability and imagination to come up with their own thoughts and ideas. Have humans really devolved so far that they cannot relate to each other in a normal and respectful way? We have become so addicted to social media and our phones in general that we have lost the concept of actual human interaction and then wonder why we can no longer make lasting friendships or relationships. It is sad I tell you, and those of us who long for real intelligent conversations feel lost in time in this current reality. I will be deleting this app as I don’t need my phone telling what to say to another person.

has amazing questions but its super buggy
the questions are great and theres a lot of categories. I paid for the 1 month. The biggest issue is that it never saves my spot, repeats a ton of questions because it re-shuffles, and freezes often. I won't be renewing unless this gets fixed.

My family and I are LOVING this app! We spent the $15 for the annual subscription and it’s been so worth it. My husband and I have dug deep into our relationship, and my daughters are LOVING the kid-friendly conversation starters! I can’t wait to see the seasonal conversations too!

amazing and empowering, a technical marvel
I cannot find the words to properly express how much this app has done for me and others in my community. I am a non-cisgender pansexual college lacrosse player. It is often difficult for me and others like me to get anywhere past awkward small talk - Oh! I forgot - I was an ENFP but over the years and wisdom accrued I have morphed into an INTJ. Oh, and as far as being into guys I only like their tumescent members, not into body hair or athlete's foot... But this app has opened a whole new world for me and I'm excited for what the future holds. Just to stay safe and keep this swing of good fortune going I will be extending my personal recognition of Pride Month into the rest of calendar year 2022 as well as never ever throw away or give up any of my possessions. All of this will stay with me and no one can touch it, lest the devil use this to exploit my character flaws to get me to smoke sherm again, like I promised my boo I wouldn't ever do again but life is so meh. Getting wet helps me find my steez and lets me give top to completion with no guilt or memory of what happened or who it was with. 10/10 love this empowering tool

We have been using GATHER for a while now and have gotten addicted to it!
It took a few attempts before getting comfortable with the concept and the process, but gradually we started to see the relevance of honest comments and their impact in improving inter-personal relationships.
Would highly recommend you to give it an honest try for about 3-4 times before evaluating its benefits.

Inclusive content and beautifully designed
With a large family of different age ranges, I find it is harder every day to connect meaningfully with my kids. This app gives me the tools and language to spark joyful moments in a way that my kids respond to. I love interacting with the app, its beautiful designs makes me want to be on the app all day. And with such great content that’s not hard to do!

Strengthening relationships
Our family is scattered across the country, so when we get to see each other in person, there is often a lot of ground to cover. Subscribed but no access
I subscribed twice, it’s still not letting me look at all the questions. I get about four questions in and then it directs me back to the subscription screen. I subscribe twice now, I’ve done restore purchase, I don’t know what else to do. If you could respond that would be great, if not I am going to cancel my subscription and get a refund. Thank you for your help, I would like to be able to access this app.
