What's New in GearDeck
1.4
October 27, 2026
GearDeck 1.4 brings Pressure Plan: a starting tire pressure for every bike and every ride. • Pressure Plan (Pro): a physics-based starting pressure, rear first (R 37 · F 34), in psi or bar. It works from each bike's tires and wheels, your weight in kit, the bike's weight and what it carries, and the terrain and pace you ride. • Ride setups per bike, such as Commute, Gravel race or Bike park, each with its own pressures. Star one to show it on your bike list. • "What you run now" sits beside each recommendation, so you can compare it with pressures you already like. • Warnings for pinch flats and for your tire's or rim's maximum pressure. Mountain bike numbers are labeled provisional for now. • Which Casing? on each tire works out Supple, Standard or Tough from the listed TPI and layers, or picks a mountain casing by its protection. • Indoor trainers skip Pressure Plan. • Retired bikes and shoes no longer send service reminders, and Log Flat leaves them out. • Settings > Data > Clean Up Default Parts finds duplicate default parts a re-sync can leave behind, for you to review and remove. • GearDeck now repairs copied parts and service history after an iCloud sync mix-up, keeping all your history. • Tires renamed to a model or size, like "Assegai 29x2.5", are still recognized as tires. • Backups now include your Pressure Plan setups and rider weight, and GearDeck keeps a safety copy of your data before each update. Never exceed your tire's or rim's maximum pressure. Questions or feedback? geardeck@mentalhygienist.app
