You need Gear Log

Gear Log is such an amazing tool. Allowing you to create lists of all your equipment, set details such as size, colour, bought date, price, end date, and inspections.

If you have equipment or details that’s not part Gear Log, contact them and they add it for you.

Fantastic

waste of time

downloaded this app, played with it for a while and found something that works a lot better. Recently got an email that my account will be dropped if I don’t add more gear. lol. Needless to say, it’s been removed

Amazing support

The app is great for tracking all my gear for everything from rope access to ski mountaineering. The support is also excellent. I had a small issue with logging inspections and the service team was able to identify and fix the issue in under 48 hours with constant updates. That’s using the free version. I can definitely see getting the paid version as my needs expand.

Best free/cheap app for keeping track of gear

I’ve been using it now for around 8 months 6 of those on the free version. Even in its free version it is great but the basic paid version is even better, I have 10 different sites worth of gear (1200 items) in the system and it tracks inspections, retirement dates etc and sends emails when stuff is due retirement. With the “sites “ option enabled the emails can go to the people at the sites responsible for the gear and also to me. The developers are very open to feedback and have added some new equipment Categories and features on request. If you need to keep track of equipment this is the best value app out there.

Awesome app!

A great app to keep track of gear for most any outdoor adventure. I use it for scuba gear, and the inspection / service feature is handy for keeping track of scuba tank visual and hydro inspection requirements, as well as other service items like regulators.

The dev team is awesome as well, they are quick to respond to questions or concerns, and add manufacturers to the list quickly when asked!
