Mostly good
It’s mostly good, awesome in the beginning but after having it for a couple of years, not sure if its that or if it’s something else but it’s starting to be a bit of a pain. It’ll always catch vehicle driving by in the background but it won’t always catch movements near home, particularly when people are helping themselves to our stuff. One of them has also stopped saving recordings so I am unable to backtrack in the memory, although it does still show live feeds.

Messed up my phone
Everytime I open this specific app, all the other apps start glitching on my phone and I have to reset it. This app is sketchy they need to fix it

Great hardware, totally responsive when making manual adjustments, but absolutely useless when it comes to keeping an automated schedule

Please for the love of god if you use smart plugs with alexa use a different app. I had to reconnect the geeni skill once a month and after moving my plugs to a different app I never had the issue again. Completely unusable app.
Great sound quality
My geeni has super sonic sound on it, it’s crazy the sounds it picks up. Good picture quality for the most part. Only thing I don’t like is it freezes a lot and gets very glitchy at times. But other than that it’s a great camera overall.

when you get an alert it would be helpful if the link took you to that part of the playback…it’s pretty annoying that when you select view it just brings you to the live stream so you have to scroll through the entire day to see a video of what happened 30 seconds ago

Awful Useless Waste of Money
At one time I would’ve given this five stars, but that was years ago. Now this is a perfect camera system if you want to see the back of a criminal’s head after they’ve stolen from you. The timing could not be more off. You would have to deliberately do this to make it this ridiculous. This camera system deliberately blocked out everyone’s faces except for your own. Oh, I have tons and tons of footage of me, walking around in my yard walking in and out of the doorway. Anyone else, though it cuts out everything except for maybe a hand or foot when leaving. I believe the system is made only to spy on the owners. It recognizes no one but me. I’ve had neighbors come over to visit and when I go to check the footage to see if it even caught them, it only catches me greeting them at the door. Tell me what’s the point of this.?

Nothing works anymore
Cameras used to record everything all day long now it’s just motion capture about to switch to something different this isn’t even worth the effort even with the subscription it still only records motion recording half of the time.
Great Equipment and Great App!
I wanted to Smarten up my house for awhile. I was deterred by the Price. I looked on Walmart.com and saw the Merkury Smart Plug. I bought just try it out and was pleasantly surprised. I looked on Amazon and other products too. I’m recommending this to everyone. The App is super simple to use. You have me hooked! So after the latest update. The widget and app status doesn’t match as to what the App says are on and off. Please address this issue. The App is still not matching the Widget and a the Apple Watch APP kills Battery Life in a matter of hours. Do Not Install On Your Apple Watch!!

YOU OFFER THE CLOUD SERVICE AS IF IT IS GOLD. Which is laughable. Way tooooo much advertising for the stupid cloud. F your cloud. Who it the world wants the cloud service? No one!! Definitely not me!! App glitches constantly with completely shutting off at random times each day. My new cameras are WYZE and blow these out of the water. Also is free 99. Good luck with Geeni. 1 more geeni camera to replace.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Product / APP is straight garbage. You’ll go round and round in circles trying to get your lights to stop blinking. But they do make a cool flame when you throw em in for fire pit. Stick with regular lites and save the headache. #TRASH
Constantly going off-line
Not very reliable. It is constantly going off-line even though I have Internet and it’s plugged in. I’ve been hoping for an update to get it fixed, but in over a year, there has still been no update. Very frustrating.
I would like
I like the app but I would like to see a preview when I press on the notification, like my other camera apps . Instead I click it takes me to the notification page then I have click to see the notification. I really wish the process was cut in half. Thumbnails would help.

great app! pls fix on Mac
ever since there was a Mac update (to like OS26 or something), the Mac app stopped functioning. It instantly crashes upon opening. it was a great, responsive app but this issue hasn’t been addressed for ages. Pls don’t give up on the app developers
