Used to be clear, easy

Screw these people. I deposited 200$ a few months back, wound up being hospitalized bc I had a heart transplant and I get sick often. So I got out expecting to be able to send 200 $ in btc. Wherever. , or maybe withdraw it. But I was counting on it as I’m still not able to work. I was shocked to see that my account was frozen. So I begin trying to get it unfrozen. Eventually after a month of trying, I was able to create a ticket, and write to a human about my problem& how I can access my OWN money.
They gave me a complicated process involving submitting one pic of my face, my ID, and a note with the date and ticket number wrote on it, all in one pic, all legible. Finally I Houdini’d this picture and sent it back to them, expecting to get my money back, and that was 2 months ago. I still haven’t unfroze my account. These guys will take your money, they won’t let you withdraw it in crypto or currency, even if you have an active bank account! I guess I’m out 200$! Thieves !!

Constant App Issues
When the app is working it is a decent exchange. I like the credit card but the app itself is very inconsistent to the point where I can’t even access the bill pay function. Gemini customer service is slow to respond to technical issues and issue app updates/fixes.

I tried to initiate a payment for my Gemini Credit Card and the app goes into black mode with no option to initiate payment!!!
Worst withdrawal system ever
I have my assets sitting in there for 2 weeks whiles I have been trying to withdraw to an external wallet but they kept telling me security hold even after verification.. now I’m trying to withdraw my funds back to my original bank account it’s saying I can’t do that like seriously!!!!!

Frustrating bug with Puerto Rico phone numbers
There seems to be a major bug with how the app handles Puerto Rico phone numbers. Even after successfully validating the country and territory/state, it refuses to pass the phone number confirmation step. Please fix this registration block!

Broken app
The app is broken and won’t load the payment screen. I don’t know what happened to it but it won’t load any data and just shows the spinning wheel on every screen for the past week. I tried reinstalling but that didn’t fix it. It will let me rack up debt but I can’t pay for it because the app is unresponsive.

Ohhhh Gemini
By far, the worst credit card in my wallet: lowest limit at $2k; takes forever for the balance to update whereas most other cards update as soon as you hit the submit payment button; something happened to my account where I couldn’t use my card anymore. Called customer service and they basically told me it looks like my account is closed but it’s not and the only idea they had was to send me a new card. Last time they offered me a new card I submitted a request for the new orange one. Was told the order was received and it would be fulfilled shortly. It never came. Instead after months of crickets I messaged them and was told the demand was overwhelming and they ran out. They offer to replace my card with another black one and that never shipped either. When I did eventually receive a card it was silver. You can’t even bypass Apple Pay with a text like basically every other card- you MUST CALL and speak to a person which is a whole nother unnecessary step.
On the Gemini side of things I don’t know where it’s pulling the data from for the charts but it never seems accurate. Collectively you can see why the stock recently plummeted by over 75% in the last 6 months. And I doubt they’re even an acquisition target at this point.
Update: latest app update completely breaks the credit card interface - my balance won’t load. And it currently shows I’m fully paid off when I know I have a balance. Because it shows it’s fully paid off it will not let me make a payment. Even when it works the balance takes forever to update after you’ve made a payment meanwhile my other brokerage accounts update instantly once a payment has been made. The fees are also the highest of any of my brokerages.

Steal your money
If I could give this app a minus I would. DO NOT TRUST THEM. I DEPOSITED $20,000 on June 4, 2026 and when I tried to send for an investment they put a hold on my money. I have sent countless emails asking for help and no response. They will not let me withdraw my money back to my bank account nor give me an explanation. Don’t throw your money away.
