Design/Features

I’ve been using this app for a while and the core features work well, but the interface is starting to feel outdated compared to the rest of the OS. It really needs to be updated with Liquid Glass support.

Right now, the app feels flat and disconnected from the system's modern aesthetic. Adopting Liquid Glass would add that necessary depth and translucency, making the experience much more immersive and visually consistent with other premium apps. It’s a 5-star utility trapped in a legacy design. Hoping to see this addressed in the next update!

Easy enough to use and book classes. Would be good if it listed the instructors that are doing the classes though.

I am consistently receiving an error message when attempting to log in, despite having a valid account with Genesis and confirming my email is correctly entered.

Genesis allows you to view group fitness timetables, book and cancel class spots, manage your membership details including payments and suspension, and track your workout activity. It also integrates with Apple Health.

How do I book a class with Genesis?

You can easily view the group fitness timetables within the app and book a spot in your desired class. If you need to cancel, you can do so just as easily to free up the spot for others.

Can Genesis help me manage my membership payments?

Yes, Genesis allows you to view your membership details, see when your next payment is due, change payment methods for direct debits, and make overdue payments. A badge will indicate if you have any overdue amounts.

Does Genesis track my workouts?

Yes, Genesis provides a dashboard to view your weekly or monthly workout-related activity. You can also set goals on this dashboard and track your progress towards achieving them.

How does Genesis integrate with Apple Health?

The app integrates with Apple Health to display energy burned and steps against past bookings. On class details screens, you can see energy, steps, average heart rate, and heart rate range. The Activity screen shows daily energy and steps graphically.

Can I share classes with friends using Genesis?

Yes, you can share class details with your friends or colleagues via most social media sites (excluding Facebook). If they have the same mobile app installed, opening the shared link will launch the app and display the class details.
