Mostly Great
GenFed’s app has many of the same features as a bank. The one thing that I need and they don’t have is Zelle or similar cash transfer option. Other than that, I love the app.

Mobile app is great at navigating and seeing things very easily.

Needs an over haul
App is terrible
Lots of time I go to log on this app it says bad request. Constantly have to input password because face recognition stops working.
Issues
Does not work with IOS 14.3, app will not open. Worked great before upgrading phone.
Works great
I like the app, it’s a great change from the prior version! Getting into the app with my face is the best part. :) I like the transaction history options and the ease of transfers. I also like that it feels less “big brother” than my Capital One and Discover apps with their “all-knowing” in-your-face big data approach.

Convenient and User Friendly
Appreciate the ability to not only see account balances and transfer funds with this App, but also deposit checks and pay bills. I even placed a stop payment on a check with the App. Convenient and accessible at all hours from any location.

I am able to deposit a check, transfer funds, check balances, pay bills, open other accounts, apply for a loan and even refer a friend from this app. During the pandemic it’s making it easy to stay home. Thank you GenFed!
App Works Perfectly!
I was concerned after reading the negative reviews but decided to go ahead and download the app. I just finished installing and setting everything up and was able to accomplish my tasks in just a few minutes. Everything worked perfectly! This is an app I will use frequently.
Want the old app back.
I really don’t like not seeing my account total with every purchase. There are currently 6 purchases that aren’t in my app that I’ve been waiting to show up, even tho the money has been taken out. Not a good enough app for banking.
Forget any polish, this one isn’t even wearing shoes
GenFed should be embarrassed to have this out on the street. This thing doesn’t even work properly (sloppy, broken interface and timeout errors after 5 seconds?). It’s not even GenFed’s first app so that can’t be the excuse.
And you actually bothered to add amateurish and non-functioning Facebook and Instagram links? What the heck are you thinking? Are your only programmers named Mr. Fortran and Mr. Cobol, both 55 years old, and tipping the scales at 250?
Stop failing at “cool” and actually try succeeding at functionality. One must wonder much money they spent on this half-baked mess.

The previous app wasn't very user friendly or good and then they make a new one that just doesn't even work. Awesome. I think I'm switching banks.
