It's not too often that I offer a review, and when I do it's either for something that's really or really bad- to that end...this app is amazing. My biggest fear is that the company's success will ultimately lead to it's demise. Like many startups, they aspire to create something of value and sell that intellectual property to a larger company for a huge windfall. I don't fault anyone for that, but it usually comes at the expense of the customer experience. For selfish reasons, I hope I'm wrong because this product and Genius Sign have been lifesavers and I don't know if they could ever be replaced. Very user-friendly and the technology is flawless. Keep up the great work and I'm happy to be a paying customer.

Superb App
This is easily one of the handful of apps I use most. Exceptional utility in a very simple intuitive app with all the features one needs for recording documents for electronic storage. I would give it TEN stars that’s how much I love it.
Five Star App!
This is one of the most useful and versatile apps for scanning documents, receipts and anything else. The easy to set up templates that prompt you to add identifying text and a dedicated path to storage folders is so useful. The app automatically scans and crops the document, which you can then send straight to a particular folder with just a few clicks. Great for scanning receipts in seconds.

Great app
Not improving
I’ve stuck with this app from the beginning. However, I’m ready to switch. It’s not that it doesn’t work but that it doesn’t work easily. When I have to scan a group of documents it is a serious pain. It doesn’t recognize the borders of the documents anymore, and the “auto” edit isn’t auto and the curvature correction has to be turned on for every individual scan. Why aren’t the settings remembered over all docs? As it is I have to go into each scanned page and clean up everything, crop, image edit, and curvature. This is tiresome. And last and least, the scan button is on the far left bottom which makes scanning with one hand difficult.

Hi, we're sorry to read this. Did you take a look at this article:https://blog.thegrizzlylabs.com/2022/10/how-to-improve-scan-quality.html? It shows how to place your documents so the app recognizes their edges with precision. We're working on adding the curvature correction as a default setting. Also, are you sure automatic capture is enabled? You shouldn't have to tap the scan button every time you want to scan a document (especially since there is a batch scanning mode). You can check that it is on in Genius Scan > Settings > General.

I need to send copies of bills for an elderly lady to her niece out of state. I can scan and send by email in seconds and job complete. Very easy to use.

I love your app! However, I have seen people asking for AI to be incorporated. No thank you!! I don’t trust AI to be secure in the least, not to mention the probability of it transmitting private information. I’m a federal contractor and want to keep all contracts and communication private. Please don’t use AI in your apps. Thank you

19 Jan 2026: i am getting sick and tired of launching Genius Scan Enterprise only to receive notifications on iPhone and iPads that my subscription has expired. NO IT HASN’T11!
My subscription is very much active and paid for snd I do nit appreciate it when this action turns around and prevents my access to saving and retrieving of documents in iCloud. Genius Scan never did this before; but, it is now happening all the time.

The SUPREMELY EASY scanner/doc archive
This software is amazing. It is extraordinarily easy to use. The images are crisp!!! And all this is in your pocket (cell phone) or in your hand (iPad). Documents are easily archived, quickly + easily retrieved, and very professionally stored. There is no real competitor to the Grizzly labs rapid response to resolving the very few bugs, and accepting customer support of all sorts.

Great App
Extremely useful. Easy to use, and scans come out very good. Integration with Google Drive works flawlessly. TOTALLY worth the price (for the plus version).
Never Expected…….
I have tried so many different ways of scanning documents (whether function on Smartphone or APP). I, honestly, never expected to (unintentionally) find such an easy to use scanner APP w/the auto features built into the APP already that I was looking for. Great product! Thanks for making scanning a really easy process……had given up how on finding an APP with the features you have even on the free version.

I have this app more than 5-6 years. 1)I got it when it was free. 2)This app is really nice app and it has very few bugs, almost zero. 3)It is very easy to use and 4)selection is one of the best and favorite.
Bed things:
1) Even though it is paid version, they added some stuff in it that is asking for upgrade. 2)They do not have AI and files are not named automatically that is very very disappointing. I wish it could do so, because search is very hard if you do not tag or rename at a time. 3) you can not select the text from picture when you are in app. U will need to screenshot or save as pic. And then select from in iphones photo app.
