I have had my scale for over 6 years and it’s reliable. I love how accurate it is and how it helps me keep track of many health indicators that I would need to go to the doctor for.

Need Face ID support
Please add Face ID support for login. Your login doesn’t work well with device password manager.
It works…
After several attempts to connect the air purifier to the wifi connection, it finally works. Just like the app recommends, if your router has auto-connect to your 5Ghz or 2.4Ghz, you need to go to your wifi internet settings and separately rename one as 5G and the other 2.4Ghz so the device connects only to the 2.4Ghz connection. That’s what I had to do and also reset the air purifier. After following the Gennec app instructions, I was able to connect without any glitches. The Gennec app is easy to use. I just don’t understand why the app asks for your location in setup before you connect the device to WiFi.

Timer Broken
Cannot change the timer on the hydroponic system. It stays stuck on 6am - 10pm even when changed.

Suddenly deleting information
I bought this scale to track my food. It’s been great for six months; but now suddenly the app deletes any food I confirm! I’m struggling with an ED and the sheer panic and horror of losing my numbers has made this app a nightmare. If the issue is fixed I’ll update the rating.

Doesn’t work with hydroponics garden iDoo
Tried many times over two days on iphone and ipad with latest OS updates. went through all possible options in the instructions that came with the hydroponic device and it fails every time. App does not provide the manual setup option at all which is presented as the alternate configuration option in the instructions. Total waste
of time if you need it to control the iDoo hydroponics garden. Best to just buy the aerogarden.

Good scales but app could be much better
Cant seem to sync the app to my iphone heath app so can’t log any of my data. Followed the instructions but still doesn’t work 🥲

Scale good, database bad
I use this for a Bluetooth kitchen scale to monitor calories, nutrition etc. Everything works ok. The database used for the items you’re weighing is terrible. I know it’s going to be complicated but the product would be better if the information you get would be more accurate and/or organized. Doable, but takes more time than it should to find the info you’re looking for.

Impossible to set up
Can never set up device. Always device not found after connecting WiFi to the device. Useless.

Bought an knock off aero garden that uses this app. Only get a white screen paid high price to use with an app.

Unable to sync to apple health
The app will not sync to apple health and I have to manually transfer data if I want to move it.
Lots of opportunity.
The app works decently as a standalone.
For the first 16+ months I had it with a scale, it synced daily with Apple Health.
Since the May 11th update to version 1.1.3, I’ve never been able to get it to work again.
Have tried all the troubleshooting steps listed, and the only option given by the company is to download the old version, and then try to install a non-verified app.
Will move on soon, If I can’t get a solution.

No Integration with Amazon Alexa
I used the Smart Life App flawlessly with Alexa and the Renpho smart plugs. Switched over to the Gennec App and there is no integration with Alexa which really stinks.
