Very basic
The app is extremely basic. If you need to import a GPX file, it can only do it from Dropbox. Will not allow access to Files folder on your iPhone. Very basic feature of “time shifting” is missing. There is no way to shift the time synchronize the time on your camera photos with your GPX file, if they weren’t perfectly synchronized before you started.

Love this app
I have been using this app for years. I don’t geotag photos with it, but rather use it to create a GPX file of where I’ve been when I travel. I then import the GPX file into Google Maps and I then have a nice map that shows me the route I’ve traveled.

I am not able to use the app on my iphone (ios18.4.1).
When trying to tag my photos on the library, the app asked me to delete the photo. After I push yes,a message shows up saying operation imcomplete GeoTagDomain error 1.and the my photo is gone.
Can you help me out?

Useful tool
My main use is geo-tagging processed RAW photos in a folder on my iPad. I import track from GPX file and run that against the folder of JPGs. Works a treat! Any possibility of being able to do the same with other formats, especially HEIF files?
Outputs invalid GPX files
The time stamps have multiple and random issues. So far I’ve found: timestamps with a space between the time and the time zone indicator; missing leading zero on time, and missing separator between the hours and minutes.

Einfach vor der Foto Tour den Tracker starten und nach der Tour mit einem Lightning-USB Adapter die Kamera anschließen.
So werden die Fotos automatisch mit GPS Daten hinterlegt. Es funktioniert mit JPEGs und RAWs.
Meine Kamera: Sony A7R ii und A6000

Great app for geotagging non-gps cameras. Really well thought out integration to make the experience as straightforward as possible. Love the watch app and Mac integration.

Works like a charm
Really well designed app.
10 At A Time?!
I really like the app, except that recent versions only allow me to tag 10-20 photos at a time, which is ridiculous! In addition, it only deletes about half the updated photos, which makes an entire day’s excursion a huge pain to tag. Almost easier to do it manually by memory.

Please give the latest version (5.2.3) a try. It fixes the issue where only a limited number of photos could be tagged at a time.
Great App for photography and bike riding
I have been using this app for 5 years including 3 trips on safari in Africa and many trips to France. It works well with Lightroom mobile which enables me to start my workflow straight away. I never leave home without it even on local bike rides so that I have a record of the many trails I explore.

Funktioniert nicht mehr
Habe die App jahrelang begeistert genutzt - aber inzwischen stürzt sie nur noch ab, wann immer ich versuche zu taggen. Jetzt habe ich die Geodaten der Route zwar in der App, kriege sie aber nicht mehr auf die Fotos...
Nachtrag: ja stimmt, seit dem letzten Update stürzt sie nicht mehr ab - dafür verändert sie bei allen getagten Bildern die Zeit um 1 Stunde. Dadurch stimmen 1. die Geodaten immer noch nicht mit der tatsächlichen Route überein und zweitens muss ich die Uhrzeit dann wieder ändern.... so funktioniert das nicht.

Fantastic app
Very intuitive user interface and makes it extremely easy to add location data to photos taken with my DSLR. Highly recommended!
Low Precision, 0m Coordinate Accuracy
The app tagged my photos as having a zero meter accuracy when in fact they plotted about 200 meters off of the trail I was hiking. Zero in this case presumably means unknown, but give the impression of higher accuracy than the points were.

GeoTagr does work on an iPhone or iPad! And also when your photos are located on a Mac. Or on Dropbox or Flickr. Maybe the message right after launch confused you, but just give GeoTagr a try on your iPhone or iPad. If it isn't clear how to use it, there's an in-app Help section. There's also the possibility to send me a support email from within the Help section.

When I’m out and about, I keep the app running in the background and then use the app to tag my photos once I get home. It really is that simple, and means I can see exactly where I took the photo on the map view within Photos, while memories etc. are properly collated too. Recording your GPS location constantly means your battery can take a hit, but the app includes a battery time remaining feature, and I just carry a battery pack with me.

大量の写真が処理できません
1万を超えるレベルで大量に写真を撮り溜めてあると、アプリが落ちて全く使えません。
このままでは評価のしようもない事に加えて、有料のアプリでもある事から、申し訳ないですが今のところは評価を下げざるを得ません。

写真の保存場所は全て携帯本体内です。
読み込みの時点で全ての写真を一気に地図へ表示させようとしているため、情報量がオーバーフローしてアプリが落ちてしまっているのでは？と推察します。
このままでは評価のしようもない事に加えて、有料のアプリでもある事から、申し訳ないですが今のところは評価を下げざるを得ません。

Wunderbar, App und Support spitze!
Sehr günstig im Vergleich zu diversen Konkurrenzprodukten und funktioniert hervorragend. Track-Verfolgung kann auf der Apple-Watch gestartet werden. Intervall zum Logging (zwecks Akkuschonung) kann eingestellt werden und das Taggen der Photos klappt super - auch auf dem iPad. Bei geöffneter App auf sowohl iPhone als auch iPad „holt“ sich die App den auf dem iPhone gespeicherten Track automatisch und taggt die Photos genau passend. Aufgrund kleiner anfänglicher Schwierigkeiten habe ich den Entwickler kontaktiert und innerhalb 24h eine hilfreiche Antwort erhalten. Ausgezeichnet und weiter so!!!

Drops out
Used to be really good but current version keep stopping the tracks if you don’t keep the app active. Has also crashed while applying gps data to images although can’t replicate that fault. Is a very good idea and would recommend if the bugs where ironed out.
