The new version
I downloaded the app on my new IPad 7 and it doesn’t show the pronunciation button. And if I click on a different word it opens a new windows on internet. The new version sucks. It’s not exactly what it shows on the app. I am not sure if something is wrong
Comprehensive
There are ways it could be better, but then any app could be improved upon. What I need personally is there: gender of nouns, verb conjugations, pronunciation, examples, etc.
After a couple years of using it constantly, it has really proven to be irreplaceable.

Maybe I made a mistake, but typed in Sippenhaftung, received a definition in G, but not English. Did not receive other definitions poss.
Also tried Volkesgemeinschaft, but did not know this word?

Indispensable, I could not read "Cicero" from cover to cover with out it.

It is great when it works, unfortunately it freezes sometimes and sometimes doesn’t respond to search command.

Never expected to get this app for free. A big thank you to the previous review which prompted me to download this app.
Thorough and Complete — especially for the examples and word roots
This is one of two indispensable German dictionary apps I use. Definitely the most complete . This is particularly helpful in giving examples of the words in use. There is a full page of different uses and permutations (with prepositions and pronouns) in sentences to help u der stand and remember. Also it is the only one I have seen that shows the word roots. These are great building blocks!

This dictionary is amazing, it includes so many things: gender, Der Akkusativ, Der Dativ, Der Genitiv Form of the words.

A very comprehensive German to English dictionary
I have only tried this from German to English and so far (over a couple of weeks intermittent use) I have found it very good with several possible translations of each word given. Also keeps a list of what you have searched so you can review these easily.
For intermediate to advanced learners of German
It is clear that this App is primarily aimed at learners of German who already have sufficient knowledge of grammar and vocabulary to make the most of its features.
There are annoying ads, and, if you are going to use this App a lot, it is only a small investment to get rid of them.
I like the many examples of usage presented for each word. At this stage, I am still struggling with the more advanced sections, all in German, that come under the initial straightforward translations and examples.
