I really appreciate how the app uses Stripe as their transaction service. I know that Stripe is triple-encrypted and that my information is protected while I send gifts to my long distance friends! Plus the app is fun and easy!

Amazing way to send gifts - makes it SO much easier, especially with people that you aren’t around all the time and would have no idea what to give them. This makes it much easier to both know what a person actually wants and also to send the gift to them. Keeps me from just getting a generic gift card for someone when I don’t know what they want. Highly recommend downloading and getting all your friends and family to use it also!

One of the things I love most about this app is how personable it is. With venmo, people are throwing money around left and right with no real meaning, but getGFTD makes it so each gift is sent with love. I have recommended this app to all my friends and they seem to love it just as much as I do. You won’t regret downloading getGFTD!!!

Game changer
Most of my family lives out of state and I only get to see them a few times each year. I am always looking for ways for us to stay connected, and this is such a good way! It makes it easy to figure out what they want and makes it easy to send gifts! I also have been loving it for sending little treats to my co-workers to show them some appreciation from time-to-time :)

Gifting just got fun!
I think this app is so clever, and takes the stress out of giving/sending gifts. I have always struggled to figure out what my friends and family members want for their birthdays and holidays, but this takes the doubt out of it, and makes gift giving so much easier and fun!

I love this app! Being able to send personal gifts to my friends across the world has been such a wonderful experience. It’s like Steam Wishlist but for everything
I couldn’t find a description for what this app is actually used for so here’s the gist. You make a wishlist for yourself and then people have the option to donate money to you so you can buy what you have on your wishlist.
Example
My wishlist:
Blueberries $10
Lamp $20
Umbrella $15
My friend then sends me the 10 dollars for the blueberries after looking at my wishlist.
This app can be fun to use with friends or family though the practicality of the app seems marginal. You can do very similar things with PayPal or Venmo with way less confusion or need of explanation.
Tldr; sleek layout, confusing concept, marginal utility, a fun way to send money to friends.
