Glorious, beautiful, stable, with every function you could wish for, and accessible everywhere you want your GIFs to be. If you care at all about managing your or. GIFs this app is the only place to go. I also keep other image format memes in there too idc life is for the living.

if u were planning on using this for twitter (like before) dont. it no longer works because of the unnecessary rebrand to X, and the stupid updates and elon musty has the tism

only reason i installed this app was to download twitter gifs. it now no longer does so, rendering this app useless.

I only downloaded this just for the sake of downloading gifs from twitter/X but they no longer allow that. Please bring it back now, please.

Amazing App
GIFwrapped does exactly what it’s supposed to do, and does it amazingly well. It’s a labor of love by an independent developer and not some side app from a corporation that they’ll give up on in a few years because it doesn’t make money, and that is something I really appreciate about it overall. It’s kept my favorite gifs available at the ready when things like the animated section of my photos app just collects anything that happens to be in .gif format. My family also uses GIFwrapped, and are very happy with it as well. Thanks for making such a niche, yet needed app! :)

I wanted to download a gif from Twitter, but it wasn’t supported. But I don’t blame the developer. That’s a lot of work, and I understand why they chose not to continue. Fun place to gets gifs too

Love the app and all the options. When searching if you could swipe to the next picture I would give 10 stars. :)

Finally!!! The best gif app there is! I never write reviews but I’m so glad this app exists! It’s exactly what I’ve been looking for! Super easy to use and unlike GIPHY and tenor it ACTUALLY WORKS without freezing all the time. There’s also an iMessage app which is amazing and there’s iPad and Mac apps for an added bonus to keep everything synched! Thank you so much!!!

No support for X (it’s not called twitter anymore FYI…)
Long winded excuse in the user guide about why it’s difficult to support importing from X….big load of malarkey if you ask me. Sounds more personal than technical. Support X and I’ll download your app.
Almost Perfect
Love the app, love the concept. Would have loved a lifetime option for purchase but that’s fine too. What I don’t understand is the omission of light mode. Makes no sense but makes the app unusable for me. Please fix if possible!
Easy to save and store gifs on!
Great app! In terms of saving Gifs I can’t find anything better. My favorite option is being able to copy a Gif from search engines like Google and Safari and paste them directly to the app! Although I wish it had live viewing like GIPHY, for those with a bigger storage to see the replay without having to click would be a great quality of life improvement(Neext update maybe🥺🙏) Also a keyboard option would be nice but not necessary. Overall as of now my favorite gif saving app 10/10 ⭐️

No longer works
This was my go-to app for saving gifs from social media sites, mainly “twitter”… however it has not worked in a VERY long time. No matter how long I’ve waited, or how often I’ve tried. It’s no longer useful to download from social media. Bummer because it was the premier app for so long.

having all of my favorite GIFs orgaized in one place that's synced across iCloud is an ablolute game changer. I can't imagine my life without this app and couldn't recommend it more.

Adequate Mac app
Update: new version 2024.1—drag and drop STILL does not work! (Meaning a gif from the Finder being dragged into the app window to import—not the other way around, which does work).
