OK! OK! I was WRONG (and Right). Re-review from 1 star to 4 stars
Ok, here was my "nasty" review: (See REVISED review and EXPLANATION below that): ORIGINAL: "Half of the handful of Presets I checked, the Different colored "Loop Boxes" were not properly synced together. A kid with a DAW and a day of experimentation can learn to cut perfectly-timed loops that fall exactly on the measure. (Or, you can make a perfect loop in 5 seconds using "AUDIO SHARE" (still an indispensible app). The app could be 3-4 stars if ALL the Loops were "Synced". But, right now it is worth ZERO stars and a time-waster.
NEW REVIEW: I had previously tested the app in the "Stand-Alone" Mode. Hence my snarly review. What I said was true. But LATER, I tested it as an AUV3 Plug-In into AUM, and it worked more/less as advertised. Timing issues seemed resolved with AUM clock. (not Apple internal clock). I'm guessing it has something to do with the higher resolution clock in AUM????
The App has a "Sync" button. I tried to sync it using Ableton Link within AUM. Ableton Link didnt "recognize it". However, when I turned on "SYNC QUANTUM", the APP did indeed sync with the metronome within AUM. BUT, you must play the drums loops with the AUM Transport buttons to get it to play. The quality of drum sounds were acceptable, "Gig Ready" is a stretch. But, for $1.99 USD and having it be AUV3 compatible, I am now happy with my purchase. There was still a little "strangeness" when going from the steady beat loops to the "ending loops". They seem to "End", than a couple seconds later come to life again for a few seconds again and then end????? If they resolve this, then I'll give it a Five Star rating. Guess I'll be eating crow for dinner!
