Horrible app
Every time I do something, I have to verify either my phone number or email constantly entering codes. Can’t get anything done. I’m deleting the app. There’s no way I’m using it.

This is the worst platform I have ever dealt with . I got hired over a weak ago for a 3 day event . I bought the necessary uniform to attend the job . On the day of the job the gps on the app gave me directions to the job location . However , it was the wrong address . It sent me 54 miles away . I was unable to clock in . The job leader said to come anyway which was over an hour drive to get there . When I got there , there was no response from her . Then I got a notification on the app saying my shift had been cancelled . Later on that night the other two shifts were cancelled as well . I got $0.00 for over 4 hours of hassle driving around and spent 35 dollars on gas . I got no compensation. The only thing I received was attitude and rude treatment . I got completely ripped off . I will be posting more reviews on Google , Reddit , Quora , LinkedIn , Facebook etc . Don’t waste your time or money on this app . These people running it are mean and violate labor laws, completely out of line and unprofessional. They are literally crooks .

Do not recommend
You can set your radius and it doesn’t even work. I only ever saw gigs posted hours away from me, usually in another state. There’s not many gigs. People will offer you a shift right before it starts, but then they will require you to have all this stuff like close toed black shoes, attire of a specific kind and so unless you already own all that stuff and are willing to work on a moments notice and drive 50 miles to work one way, then it’s not even worth it. WORKER BEWARE!!!
This app will connect you with employers that will scam you. The customer support for employees is a nightmare if you ever have a need. More than one employer has cheated me out of pay. Most recently, Event Lab LLC identified me as a “no show” rather than submit my time card for the full day I worked. Instead of resolving my issue promptly by verifying the geofencing data the app collects, customer service has left it in the hands of an employer who undoubtedly scams employees to choose whether or not they want to reverse their erroneous lie. Using this app will bring you tons of headaches, unpaid hours, and long delays in receiving the pay you’re owed. There are far better options worthy of your time and energy.

Confusing
So, if a gig is filled why is does it allow me to submit a bid? I haven’t been able to get a shift yet cause right after when I check it says it’s filled!
Payments
I’m confused because I worked a three day gig at one location, but I only got the payment for the last day? I also don’t like that there is zero ways to contact anyone on this app, if and when, there are payroll issues. I’m missing my first two days, but there is NO support to help me! I am annoyed! There should be at least an email for those who work on this platform!

I had a negative background check report they gave me a number to call to give me a rebuttal and they do not pick up their phones and they do not respond to email so I am going to be taking appropriate action against this company to contact certain people to get them removed from the play store and Apple, App Store and FNF this app is still not removed and I will be taking a lawsuit out against them and be telling everybody on social media about this issue, and if this review is removed, I will also be taking effective action including but not limited to a lawsuit against Dig Smart for $10,000 because they do not support their workers at all, and it is considered a hostile environment. There’s no support for their workforce.

Pointless
I found 2 different shift that were IN MY CITY after I entered my location. Guess what I was told? “This job is too far away, find shifts closer to you”. Make it make sense. Deleted the app as it is useless to me
Not paying out!
The app pays me when it wants to and feels like it. I work gigs and sometimes I get paid and other times I don’t. It’s really frustrating to go and work somewhere for free.
payment thru branch is a scam
i’ve had a Gig smart account for several years. Before they attach this branch account app for fast money payout, the app was working just fine. Payout was just fine. Now with this new branch service, it created a scam to steal your money. I had $241 that’s owed to me and still hasn’t been from using this branch app service that they force you to use and you have no connection to any type of any situations to contact them to get immediate service to resolve the issue. I think if anybody that downloads Gig Smart should be very careful and honestly when you have to be careful with apps like this when it comes to money, I wouldn’t even do it but hey, I can’t tell you what to do.

Started off okay and good
So I truly enjoyed this app and the jobs I worked were great and very helpful but I had one no call no show because of a tooth infection and had been in bed and very ill so I completely forgot and missed a shift my fault there for sure but every bid I’ve put in since is ignored and now I can’t even get a single opportunity! Kind of bogus.

I can’t even finish setting my profile up it is so buggy! I’ve tried for a few days!
Payout Issues
Of course the buyer approved the work instantly, but the quick payout failed due to old card in the system. Updated the new card number and it will not go through. Only allows to retry send payment once every hour to the minute.Branch says it’s a Gigsmart problem and Gigsmart acts like it’s a Branch issue. Give me my money!

As soon as a job post and you apply, when you go back to check right after it says do not show up job has been filled. Waste of time
