Question
Has anyone actually gotten a payment from these guys! I did a very high paying job and invested 2 weeks of my time to this one job only to be turned down saying my video isn’t what they where asking for when I did exactly what I was supposed to do! I reached out after to see if they could at least offer me the gas $ for driving there, and nothing! Not to mention you have to deal with these apartments and places calling and leaving vms all the time because they are doing their jobs to “follow up” because they think you’re an actual apartment seeker!

There is nothing really in the UK. I have two available on the app to do, one in London (I’m in Scotland so that’s a no) and the other one is over 45 miles away. I’ve already uninstalled it

Glitchy all the time
Can’t login
Haven’t been on the app in a few years so I thought I try it out again. I don’t remember what my password is so I went to reset it. Didn’t work. Okay I changed it again. Still can’t sign in. Well I guess that’s it.
Job section jumps
Job section jumps and constantly gives an error message when you try to open the jobs and sometimes opens a different job then the one you click on
Glitchy
Very glitchy. My reports get lost when I press “submit” after long hourse of answering questionnaires.
Out $200 for a job, no reply from GigSpot
Did a job for Mercantile and they still have not paid and it’s been more than 30 days. I’m out $200 for a job I’ve done it took my time out to do and neither gig spot or Mercantile has gotten back with me after multiple attempts, please do not waste your time or you will have to get a lawyer like me.

Frustrating
I am a full-time mystery shopper and depend on this app for my livelihood. Whenever I open it up, the screen just jumps around for and unreasonably long time before I can open up any of my jobs. And often times it crashes when I apply for a job and when I open it up again, the job is gone.

I always get paid but the website works better than the app. App is trash
App not working
When I open the app it stays on the loading screen with the logo thing bouncing up & down. It never loads
App no longer works
The app stopped working about 5-6 days ago. I notified the company and was told to use the website. Have you considered fixing your glitch?
A little buggy but decent
Update… the latest update introduced a bug where you can’t see the job board or your account info. Messaged them a couple days ago but haven’t heard back.
Not sure why, but they often use red text and blue text to try to highlight text but it’s impossible to read because it’s on a grey background! Sometimes task have to be done at a specific time but they don’t always make it obvious (some task they do… but not all). Sometimes jobs don’t save. Sometimes the app will freeze as you’re switching apps to check details and you need to restart the task. But overall the tasks are fairly well explained. If you like stressful work for less than minimum wage then this is the app for you! If they have a problem with what you submit they will let you correct it as opposed to rejecting the task.

Not many options, not always paid
I’ve completed jobs and have been paid fairly, but have also run into where they flag the simplest smallest thing and use that to not pay you, essentially getting you to work for free. There’s no arguing with them on it or ways to provide more info after. Recently I was denied due to not typing word for word the prompt they wanted me to use even though that’s what was implied and I was not paid due to “not following the prompt”. I did, and now I wasted around 2 hours of time and my gas for nothing.

Don’t use this app unless you like working then not get paid
The problem with this app is the companies that use it - I spent several hours completing an assignment and the company wouldn’t pay me! Another one I had to get after to pay me. These companies have very unethical business practices in that you do a job for them and their client and refuse to compensate you. The mystery shopping jobs take several hours and then you have to fill out detailed surveys which is another couple of hours and take tons of photos and some make you do preliminary work. The app is not great either, but the big problem is the companies. Oh, and if by some chance they pay you, it’s several weeks after you do the job. Stay away from these companies. I’d give this app zero stars if I could. Uggh.

This app is so bad, I’m going to delete it! You can’t get to the jobs page without first tapping on another option and then going back, it won’t load if you simply choose the jobs section. If by chance you get a response to a job you applied to, once you complete the task it takes several weeks to get paid and a lot of them only do PayPal, so if you want direct deposit or some other form of payment you’re out of luck. I say if by chance you are selected for a job because a lot of the time you apply for a job and never hear back one way or the other! Super rude, inconsiderate and unprofessional. You plan your day around doing an assignment and they rudely never respond! Even when you write an email to them (because of course there’s no way to call) your email(s) even more than one are ignored. Also, there is virtually no way to see what jobs you’ve applied to or check on your status. Like another user commented, it seems like a platform from the 00’s. It’s pretty much completely useless. You can spend hours in total traveling to and from a job, doing the job and then another couple of hours filling out the survey, laying out your own money upfront, all to be told you’ll be paid IF the client accepts the survey. There’s no way to call anyone ever, if and when your email receives a response, it’s usually just corporate-speak.
