This isn’t Gin Rummy… This is knock Rummy. Unreal!!
Good design but Limitations!
I've played Gin Rummy card games in apps for about 10 years. Just got this one. I like the calm graphics that don't pressure you to play as quickly as some.
Limitations after my first week:
1) Today, it has generated the exact game I played yesterday! I had to work thru it again to get to a new game. A few other games have also started out familiarly (I remember the scenarios and my goals with the hands), but I may have made new choices that took me down a differing path. Still, not enjoyable!
2) It is portrait orientation only. This makes the cards in my hand very skinny and I have several times pulled out the wrong card (even a melded card next to the hand!!! Oh NO! And no "back button"!!) several times. Very frustrating. I have learned to pull a card up and make sure of it before playing, but other games in landscape mode do not have this problem and extra step that distracts concentration.
3) Even though the card movements are graceful and more relaxing (good), the appearance doesn't have as many nice choices as other apps.
4) Also, the speed doesn't pressure you (good), but the prompt "it's your turn" comes up while I'm still looking at what to play! It does fade quickly, but I see no way to turn this interruption off.
Sorry if any of these are just new user error, but perhaps these things could be included in design modifications?
For everything I like about it, THANK YOU! I'll keep trying it a while longer.

Not random
There is nothing random about this game. If you watch closely you will see what I mean. It’s about as random as a clock telling time.

I’d have given this 0 stars if I could have, the dealing algorithm for this game is a joke. You can predict if you will win or lose the entire game off of a few draws. There is no middle ground or suspense, entirely predictable. Waste of time. Deleting it now as there are very few real matches against live players even though they act like they are. Complete trash! Update: still use it for multi player, but the game is still trash. Rarely do you play an actually human, and the computer player almost always gets a magical hand!

This game plays an ad after every hand and you can play till 200 points. They want $4 a month for no ads. This game is nothing special, has so so graphics, generated profile pics and ad after ad
Terrible algorithm
I don’t mind losing but losing 90% of the games while your opponent magically gets a gin or knocks within the first few hands just takes the fun out of the game.

Music stops
Lately the music stops about 1 minute into the game. I loved the music. Have tried everything to get it to play. How do you upgrade to the new update? Does it fix this issue?

I don’t know why a review said that it didn’t have an over abundance of ads, since I played 3 hands and got an ad after every hand. Don’t waste your time with this one

Too many ads and they are far too long there is no way to skip forward even when there is a sign that says skip ads
Love this, but…
I adore this game. Classic game and fun to play with people from all over the world. BUT the app freezes, often right in the middle of the game. The only thing I’ve been able to do is delete the app and reload it. It’s a bummer… this would be my go-to game if it worked properly. Sigh
