Lots of issues with the app
Lots of glitches. App doesn't function as smooth as the website application. Visually data and information is skewed so you can't always read everything. Log off button isn't displayed. There's a number of issues I passed along to the company and I assume they're working on it.
Report card - Audio wont play
This app is clunky and has options that aren’t even useful for the purpose of checking on my pet while he’s at daycare. The shop is outdated and doesn’t show accurate options offered by the facility. Audio wont play for the videos uploaded to the report cards, if you can even get the video to load in the first place. To contact support is a joke and the FAQ articles aren’t helpful at all. Had to resort to writing a review in hopes the developer will see it.

Too many logins
The app is just ok not great. Why is login required every couple weeks? There no financial or personal data stored in the app. Should limit logins to once a month at most.

The last few months I’ve been nothing but frustrated. I’ve been told the app is getting a revamp (by our daycare) only to continue to be disappointed. It logs me out after 15 minutes which makes it useless for check-ins on my dog during the day. Booking was already multi step process and now I have to log in every single time. So ridiculous. It’s 2026. Get with it.

Absolutely awful. Login on is a hot or miss situation. Most times it does not work.
Viewing
You used to be able to zoom in on different areas. Now the only thing you can see when you zoom in is the middle of the picture. Please fix this.
App Login Needs Work
Overall, the app does what it does. The app does not allow for Face ID login so you have to enter in username and password EVERY time since it logs you out after 15 minutes. No option to stay logged in. Please add some options for making regular things like daycare settings to auto-populate if they are the same each time.

Improvements needed
Reinstate remembered login. Having to login every time is annoying.
Create a month at a glance calendar function so it is easier to view a specific day without an unending scroll.

It makes me login every single time I open the app. Very annoying.
App Needs Work
While I appreciate the Gingr platform, the mobile app needs some work.
Switching between facilities is too cumbersome. Two facilities I take my dog to both use Gingr, and having to completely log out and into the other one every time I need to switch is ridiculous. There should just be an account/facility switch option.
The login screen needs to “hint” the Gingr domain name to password managers. Since it doesn’t, logging in takes extra steps in my password manager to search for Gingr each time. This is especially annoying because of the lack of an account switch option.
Finally, having to use some secret invite code to add a new facility seems unnecessary, especially if I already have an account and use the Gingr web portal. At a minimum, just use the first part of the portal domain name instead of requiring a unique code. Even better would be a search option.
Once logged in, the app works well. It’s just getting to the point where I’m ready to use it that’s unnecessarily frustrating.

No good
Terrible app. Choppy. It asks me to add a facility using my zip code, I input the zip and it still shows me a nationwide map and then I have to zoom in to find my local facility. What good is that? Ridiculous.

Here’s some feedback on how to make it better.
Registration for new pets and owner info is harrowing. There’s way too many required fields and it takes way too long to enter the info. It should be much easier. All the text fields shouldn’t be necessary fields. Entering this info should be done in different phases where only the minimal essential information is entered. The next phase could have the non-essential info and not having this secondary info shouldn’t prevent you from registering
This app could use good UX designer to get some help on usability and probably a good QA engineer to shake out the bugs.

Clunky
Unfortunately we don’t have much of a choice and have to use this app because our daycare uses it but the interface is very clunky, can’t apply credits from daycare packages, nowhere to enter promo codes, I dread using it to book services.

I couldn’t even set up my account bc of ALL the glitches! The keyboard kept disappearing and I would have to close out and reopen it 24 times!
I finally just deleted it and gave up!

awful app and customer service
your can pay multiple invoices without paying them individually and then getting locked out. no one picks up when you call support. i owe my kennel a lot of money and feel bad that i can’t pay them.
Awful app
This app is so unintuitive and useless. Impossible to find where to put a credit card, can’t connect accounts within families, no notifications to let you know payments aren’t working. Really wish my pet care place didn’t use this but alas.
Doesn’t accept my email address with a gtld
The devs don’t understand how modern DNS works so they only will allow email addresses from a small subset of TLDs

I’m not sure what the bad reviews are about. I have had a great time with this app and I’ve used it for over 3 years now! If you’re a Petsuites dog parent. This app is the best🙌🏾
