It’s really good for studying, but…
I’ve recently switched from Quizlet to gizmo and the switch has been amazing. Gamifying studying makes it a lot easier to get motivated to study. However there are a few quality of life changes that it could use. Firstly I wish you could track your progression with flashcard decks, without having to do them and see the summary after finishing a round. So many times I want to study what I know the least, but I have no way of seeing each decks statistics. Next there needs to be more flashcard creation types, like being able to manually create multiple choice questions with MULTIPLE correct answers. This function exists, but only when using the ai function to generate cards. Even after paying for the premium, there are no additional flashcard creation features. I really like this app, please improve it !

Efficient, Free, AI Question Generator, Your Notes, Active Recall
Gizmo is a life saver and overall one of the best study apps I use. The basics are: first you upload a document of your notes (I do mine online via Goodnotes (go check that app out - have to pay but basic plan only £11)), then gizmo spends around 1-5mins (depending on the size of your document/picture/text/etc.) generating flashcards - these involve multiple choice, match up, list format, basic flashcards and lightning rounds - it’s really quick and efficient. From there on, you can choose the active recall (I mainly use this), the AI tutor which helps run through concepts with you or play challenge live with your friends who are online. You can also create study groups and share decks. If you are in senior school I recommend as it’s very useful, easy to use and a fun way to revise almost any subject!

bugged, broken, I am distraught!!
I was waving to my friend and I followed them back, checked their decks and came back out of it and found that ALL my decks I spent ages on disappeared, theres no archived i logged out restarted my phone uninstalled the app, and still, nothing!!! it doesnt even let me click on the public decks. I have tried everything!! I really needed my decks complete by the end of the week as this year is extremely important for me and honestly if ur going to make an ai app, you need to ensure there arent bugs bc thats a likely thing is it not??? Now part of my plans are ruined and revision planning will be a disaster to redraft!!

Unreliable
Terrible flashcard app, my flashcards keep disappearing
This is a great app for studying but it keeps glitching
Aside from how convenient and easy this is to use, and how useful it is for studying, it will glitch sometimes and the words become a combination of random numbers and letters and I don’t know what causes it. Please fix this bug. I have to delete and redownload the app to fix it

I was gonna gatekeep this but all my friends have it now lmao.. You dont realise the potential of this app. I use it on my macbook on the website version normally and its the best. The new texting feature is also so amazing!! I love how engaging the quizzes sre and how helpful this app has been. I recorded my lecture in class and it took well organised and relevant notes for me, which I'm satisfied with. Great app!! Thanks developers.

I really enjoy this app, I haven’t taking one of my test yet. But I already am starting to get confidence because of gizmo. Definitely worth the money!!!!

Lorsque je fais des pratiques, des leçons ou que je crée des notes à l’aide du robot, je rencontre régulièrement plusieurs problèmes.
Tout d’abord, certaines questions générées sont incomplètes ou mal formulées, ce qui les rend impossibles à compléter ou à répondre correctement. Les notes générées ne fonctionnent également pas toujours comme prévu.
De plus, à plusieurs reprises, lorsque j’essaie de consulter mes notes, elles se mettent à « flasher » ou à changer rapidement, sans que j’aie aucun moyen de régler le problème. Cela rend l’utilisation des notes très frustrante et parfois complètement impossible.
J’aimerais vraiment pouvoir utiliser ces fonctionnalités pour étudier efficacement, mais ces problèmes nuisent beaucoup à mon expérience. Il serait important d’avoir une meilleure vérification des questions générées ainsi qu’une solution pour les problèmes d’affichage des notes.

Got me from a stubborn pass to a strong merit in my BTEC exams
I suggest starting to put revision on this early on and keep practicing until it becomes common knowledge and I suggest a week before exams getting a weeks worth of upgrade from basic gizmo as it makes all the benefits

Works very well
It’s great for revising in bite-sized chunks, and it is not nearly as buggy as it once was anymore, it’s an actually useful form of AI. It’s just good.

Best App ever created
Words can't even describe how much I love this app. The best way I can describe it is that everyone at my school knows how much love and use gizmo as i'm always recommending them to use the app (in which they now use too),, I started using the app for my GCSEs in 2025 to help myself pass in science for my alevel course,, was predicted 5/4 came out with a 6/6!!! The way gizmo is formatted and the leaderboard features it includes encourages me to log on every single day to get active recall done. Gizmo alone even made me realise that active recall was the best method for me to use in studying as I have always struggled with finding the right revision technique. I invest in the unlimited subscription when exam season starts, such as in my AS levels this may-june I constantly used Gizmo and got by CCCC predicted grades into an ABBC!!! 100% give this app a go because you will not regret it!!!

I love the is app it is amazing and has really helped me. When i first started i though, Oh i have run out of hearts and cant play until tomorrow but you get another ten in ten minutes 🩷🩷🩷🩷

acing my exams
I started using gizmo at the beginning of year nine when everyone in my year was first discovering it but I used it a lot more frequently. When I started I had average grades and was in middle set but I ended the year in top set and I won an award for having the best grades out of the whole year in science and geography. I have a 200+ day streak and I keep getting told I finished top 1% multiple times. I used to hate revision but now I love it and I literally spend hours doing it JUST for fun. Gizmo has made me realise I’m so much smarted than I thought I was and I am so proud of all I’ve achieved and can’t wait to keep using it xx

I think there is a bug in the app because it wouldn’t let me go back into my quiz and when I shut my phone down it restarted me.
