Better than other tools, but still problematic
This is a remarkable app. It really does remove eyeglass glare. It’s much better than the Clean Up function of Apple Photos, Magic Eraser function of Google Photos, and Remove tool in Adobe Photoshop. But results are still creepy. The app changed my eye color and caused me to squint even when my eyes were wide open. Glare is annoying, but making me look like a different person is worse. Update (26 Jan 26): I tried the update. For small patches of glare, my eye color is retained now, so that is an improvement. For larger patches, however, the app still gives very creepy results. I wonder whether the model is trained on dark-eyed people. If so, it would help if the developer broadened the training corpus.

I’ll try again in six months to see whether the algorithm has improved.
