About

Glidr is turn-by-turn navigation for skiers and snowboarders: sat-nav for the slopes. Pick where you want to go, and Glidr routes you there over pistes and lifts, then guides every turn by voice, on your watch, or both, while your phone stays in your pocket. WORKS OFFLINE Download your ski area before you head out. After that, navigation keeps working with no signal and the screen off. Crew, live lift and piste status, and the Day Planner need a connection. CHOOSE HOW YOU RIDE Shortest, Easiest, Fastest, Scenic, or No-Flats, which prefers routes with fewer flat sections — handy if you'd rather skip flat traverses. Avoid black or red runs if you'd rather not see them. Up to 3 alternative routes per search. REROUTES AROUND CLOSURES Go off-route and Glidr reroutes you automatically. Where live lift and piste status is available, Glidr reroutes you around reported closures. GUIDANCE ON YOUR WATCH A big arrow and a vibration at every junction on your route, on Apple Watch or Garmin, so you don't need to look at your phone. PLAN YOUR WHOLE DAY The Ski Day Planner builds a full day of runs around your level and your goals — lifts and a lunch stop included. RIDE WITH YOUR CREW See friends live on the mountain and meet up wherever suits everyone. Crew is free; you just need to sign in. EVERYTHING ELSE ON THE MAP Restaurants, mountain huts, toilets, first aid — all on the same map as your route. FREE TO TRY Try free navigations with a signed-in Google or Apple account. Then choose a Glidr Pass for a day or a week: a one-time purchase, no subscription, no automatic renewal. THE ADDITION TO THE PISTE MAP YOU ALREADY USE Keep the resort's piste map and lift app for the overview. Glidr adds what a map can't: the actual route from where you stand to where you want to be, spoken turn by turn, over pistes and lifts, with or without signal. 1,000+ ski areas already have turn-by-turn routes in Glidr, including Les 3 Vallées, Tignes–Val d'Isère, Chamonix, Alpe d'Huez, Dolomiti Superski, Portes du Soleil, Zermatt, St. Anton/Arlberg, Ischgl and Saalbach. What's New in Glidr

1.76.0

• Crew: group and 1:1 chat with quick replies and "meet here", now on Apple Watch too; see your crew live on the map and follow a friend. • Fall alert: every crew member now gets their own alert and a clearer all-clear. • Faster rerouting around piste closures, and you can mark a closed section yourself so your route reroutes instantly. • Apple Watch and Garmin: a full route overview (remaining pistes and lifts), your whole-day plan progress, and better battery life. • Walking directions guide you the last stretch to your crew meetup point. • Smoother map: piste labels stay readable while it rotates, easier route dragging, and a redesigned, mountain-first home screen.
