Great classes flawed app and site.

I love having access to all the teachers and so many classes. However the site and app run very slow and they keep adding features no one asked for. I don’t need a queue. I have collections to do that. I was in the middle of a program, and now that program is unavailable. The collections stopped showing which classes you’ve completed about a year ago and it was never fixed. IMO the you should quit trying to make it fancier and should instead make it more functional. Been a member 5 years and it continues to get worse every year.

Bad update

You can no longer filter classes saved to your library - at all. Truly terrible update.

Unethical - do not trust

Despite not using this service since 2019 and acknowledging the fact that I’ve never used the app since then they have continued to charge me for a monthly subscription and refuse to even acknowledge this or even offer something back in Goodwill. when you sign up to these guys, just remember they will keep taking your money and will not return it.

Love Glo, don’t like most recent update

Love Glo, been using it consistently for 2 years now. What’s up with the new update though? I can no longer see my saved teachers or scheduled classes, which is a real bummer. Please bring those features back for easy navigation under My Practice.

8 years on this app

The UI gets worse and worse. Now I only see one class?!

Why

Why does Glo continue to move around the features of this app? The bells and whistles change so often it is distracting. Please please stop permanently tweaking and let us all breathe.

Buggy and entry level classes

App is difficult to FF or rewind. Classes super easy and lots of talking.

Offering less and less and less

Just opened the app today, and instead of many classes to choose from, it shows me one. ONE.First live classes are gone, now this?! How am I supposed to discover new classes?! Going to start looking for other options.

New interface

Hello! I love Glo! I’ve used it 90 precent of my mornings from January to today and the interface has changed a couple of times in the last few months and I’m ngl its making using the app harder than it is easier! I liked the way the way options for search were laid out before (clear, nice to look at, bubble categories) the list now is just more visually cluttered. I liked having more options to pick from when I opened the app, not just the one. I’m still going to use this app because I love it so much but I want to return to the old way the app worked 😭

Weights too!

I started for yoga, and stayed for barre and strength training. They have wonderful classes for various styles across the board.

Single recommendation screen is not usable

Long term paid subscriber here. The newly updated start page that gives me a single recommendation is not usable. I actively liked seeing what was new and trending as well as multiple recommendations. There did not appear to be a way to reconfigure my start screen the way it was. Happy to change the rating if my concerns are addressed.

Buggy but good content

i love this platform but within the past month I have no longer been able to add classes to my collections. When I tap “add to existing collection”, only 2 or 3 of my numerous collections appear as options, therefore I have not been able to organize my classes. Frustrating.

Wonderful. But why spinning?

I’m so thankful for Glo and its instructors! But, recently when I click on session, screen stays black and just spins. How can I fix this to access my favs?? Thank you, Glo!

Disappointed

Extremely difficult to cancel account and get a refund. Poor customer service.

Classes good, deceptive renewal practices

The app and yoga classes itself are very very good. HOWEVER. Beware that this company will not notify you of annual renewal (which is $245 as of this review) and that the website is incredibly deceptive - you can't actually cancel from the website, you have to reach out to support to get them to cancel your subscription. They do not give any straightforward way to cancel your subscription via app OR website. Look somewhere else if you want a business that doesn't engage in deceptive business practices.

Love this app, but kill the music

I use this app almost every morning and learned so much from my favorite yoga teachers. This morning there was a new update, which I added music to one of my favorite classes. Not sure if you’re doing that with all classes, but I’m not loving it. in fact, it interrupted my ability to stay present in my body. It’s distracting. And everyone has different musical tastes, so I think it’s better to let people choose to play their own music while doing yoga, if they want that. At the very least, could you make it possible for subscribers to silence the music without silencing the teacher. Peloton has a way of doing that on the volume controls. You can select more music or more instructor.Check it out and see if that’s possible. Glo is great already, no need to keep changing it up!

What happened to live classes?

Glo became my go-to for yoga classes during the pandemic; they have an extensive library of classes to suit a variety of styles and levels of practice. But recent,y the live classes changed to “your studio” which is just a library of pre-recorded classes with an algorithm that keeps offering you a narrower selection of choices and introduces you to nothing new. It’s a major downgrade and personally I think they should be charging less if they are removing a service.

Excellent platform! Love the variety of options: classes, durations, teachers, levels and styles. You decide what works! This flexible platform, covers all the bases, conveniently wherever you are mentally and physically. There’s no excuse not to take your the mat!

Expensive but decent

As a Jason Crandell delivery app, Glo works great. I also love the wide range of practices available. What I don’t love is all the little bugs and UI/UX issues that never seem to get addressed. It’s also frustrating that 75% of the time when I reach out to customer support, I never receive any response. This app costs a small fortune compared to others, but I don’t feel like it delivers an equivalent level of quality in the way it functions. Still, if you use it enough it will be cheaper than going to a studio.

Hot and cold

I have had issues for years with casting videos, certain clips don’t cast. I’m glad they are finally attempting to provide newer material (I have the app for 1 teacher) but what really sucks is the preview has now been removed so I can’t see glimpses of the class anymore. Is that why I updated it like multiple times in one week? Bring back the previews please.
