Game needs some serious fixing
I’m a die hard minesweeper fan. I also have the PC version of globe sweeper on steam, which is fantastic in my opinion. This mobile version however, is slightly lacking. In all honesty I enjoyed my first time playing but I set my phone down to go grab a bottle of water and when I came back all of the mines on the map had spontaneously blew up without my pressing on the screen. Very irritating when you’re completing colossal sized maps. I think if my bombs just didn’t spontaneously blow up, it’d be a higher rating.

Errant explosions
Overall I like this game, it is fun and just slightly addictive. The problem I have with it is that if I put it to sleep the next time I start up it randomly “taps” a space and uncovers it. This means that more often than not it explodes. This seems like bug to me. I certainly hope it was not intentional because when you play the huge globe with triangles, you just can’t run the entire globe in one sitting. I will say that I did not notice this problem in the smaller globe games.

Fun until….
I just finished the Colossal sphere level and I’ve covered the entire map yet the game doesn’t show if I’ve finished the level or if I’ve missed a hole or mine. The mine counter says 0000. So I must be done right??

And after spending so much money just on the upgrades so that I could diffuse a bomb. NO way. Don’t spend any money on upgrades. Don’t spend any money on this game period. The large levels are totally unsolvable without having to spend money on upgrades and even then, when your bomb counter is 0000, nothing happens. Don’t buy.

What happened?
I like this puzzle game, but now I cannot eliminate the adds. I already paid for the non-ads version, but the buttons don’t work…please fix this bug
Crashing
After about 5 seconds of being in the game, it would crash. I tried multiple times and it still crashed every time.
Won’t finish properly
Played a colossal classic insane-density globe. Found all mines, timer kept ticking. No win condition, feels bad after playing this map for weeks.

honestly, the game is really good, but the fact that you can’t tap next to a flagged area to uncover the 100% not bomb squares make the experience 4 times worse. game takes too long to complete that, but an easy fix could be made to solve that.
Good game.. just needs an update.
No updates in 11 months. :/ I can’t even buy the defusers anymore. Great game tho.. until you slip and don’t have a defuser.

Great app needs notch update
Play this for hours and like many of the earlier updates and features. Just replaced iPhone with one having the notch which blocks the stats. A reviewer noted this about a year ago but no update at this time. Also, in the huge setting a few times one has to guess as there is no mathematical option. Still a great game

Very intelligent
I highly enjoy this game. I am about 25% through a large triangle globe right now. There are some good strategies for solving them, and it takes patience.
My only complaint is when I start Globesweeper, it pauses Spotify. This didn’t happen on Android, but does on iOS. Other music apps don’t pause (see mubert).

Guaranteed Solvable? Update: Yes!!!
Overall, I very much like the game, but where is the “Guaranteed Solvable” mode that I’ve heard is available on the Steam version???

Cool, but needs “Guaranteed Solvable” mode
I agree this is a cool new take on Minesweeper. But on the Mac app, there is a mode of the game called “guaranteed solvable“, in which you don’t have to resort to just guessing. Please do that on the iOS app version as well, and I will improve my rating here. Thanks!

Good, but could use some polishing
Overall, I love the game. I like the variation on the standard game and the 3D shapes and smoothness of it all is very satisfying. However, my only complaint is that it is very easy to click on tiles when scrolling around, especially on colossal. This is pretty big on colossal since your 40 minute run could go to waste with a little misstap. Fix this and it will be 5 stars.

You can now change the tap threshold in the options menu. If you set it really low this should no longer happen to you.
Reminds me of the 2000s, love it.
Works pretty well but needs to be adjusted for the iPhone X, the speaker cutout covers up the in-game menu.
