Books won’t open
Have used this app and really enjoyed it, however now my books won’t open. Very disappointed
Won’t update won’t work
Planning to enjoy enjoying a quiet evening reading and the app is locked out, saying it requires an update in the App Store, but there is no update available in the App Store. Offloaded it the put back on phone and it still won’t work so I cannot access any of my books.
It’s not bad
Wish I could make book purchases right from the app, though.
Not really set-up for reading on a laptop
It sucks bc the text is really small and there’s no way to zoom in or adjust the size
Disappointed
I’ve paid for a book via Harper and they say to read it I need Glose but I can’t get past the free sample!! Money wasted which I’d never downloaded the sample via Apple Books and then told to read further go to Harper - a complete waste of my time and money
Not loading or opening books
Useless app! They should have stayed with the Bluefire app, at least those books would be downloaded to your device.
Can’t download or open new books
I use this app on both iOS and Android and neither one will let me download new books. Also if I try to open them to read on WiFi it shows no text in the book. This is extremely frustrating.

App used to be better. Lately it has been stuck on loading so you can’t read books you purchased.
This is the worst app for ebooks
The cover images take forever to load and often don’t display at all. The interface is simply bad and frustrating to use. I tried to be supportive of authors by buying directly from the publisher’s platform, but I honestly regret it. Amazon does a far better job with Kindle in every way. Going forward, I’ll be buying my books there instead.

Review of the glose app
I have found that the problem with this app is that it has too small print on its download
Buggy and slow
Super disappointed that Harlequin won’t allow me to read my books anywhere else. Had I known, I would not have bought them. The app is horrible. Continuous scrolling isn’t an option in my book and tapping to the next page only works half the time. Swiping works but accidentally touching anything causes pop ups so the reading experience is constantly interrupted. Once I finish these books, I will never order from them again unfortunately.

Hard work
I have just purchased an ebook from Harper Collins and downloaded this overly convoluted and confusing app and the book I have purchased, which is supposed to appear im My Books is nowhere to be seen.
Only a long-term loan, no printing, other restrictions
You can’t ‘buy’ books from Glose, only rent them indefinitely. Not allowed to print, no offline access, many other restrictions. If Glose ever goes bust, you lose access. If I could get a refund I would.
So many glitches
Rarely ever works on desktop or phone or iPad and no one answers customer service
A Data Mining App Masquerading As An Ereader
This app has multiple "options" to opt out of the multiple ways it tracks your activity, none of which actually work.
Some people,myself included, just want to read our books peacefully without counting every conceivable aspect of the process.
I'm certain we will discover who they & the publishers are selling our information to in coming years.

Terrible App. Unable to connect to my account set up with The Times free book offer.

I have this app because i subscribed to The Wall Street Journal for a time, and this is how they provided free monthly books. I like that it has both audiobooks and written ones. But I do not see a table of contents for the book i’m reading, and the tracks are not divided according to chapters.
i’m glad the author is reading it, especially since she is a radio journalist.
