It’s not working
I bought a yearly subscription and have not been able to access to the app.. it takes me directly to pay a prescription when i already have one and I’m not able to access any of my stored information..

Have been using this app for years! And yesterday I went to delete a double profile of a client and accidentally deleted all my data- nightmare situation for me considering I rely on this app for all my protocols/client interactions….reached out to their team in a panic and the next day they assured me they would handle the problem! Within 24 hours I got all my clients back! Thank you Gloss team!!

Lost all my formulas
I would not recomend this app they lost all my information I try contacting them to recover it but nobody answered my question. I’m going back to paper, I can’t trust them again with year of clients records .
The best!
I already loved this app but let me tell you a story. I was trying to delete an old client and somehow managed to delete my entire client log. I emailed the gloss team in a panic and they were able to recover all of my formulas and client info. They are the absolute best! 10/10 would recommend!
Profile Restoration
I have been using the Gloss App for 3 years now- absolutely love it! Such an efficient way to store all my client formulas/info( I was old school with index cards).
One day ago- I accidentally deleted/ erased all my info/formulas! (350+ clients).
Totally panicked, I emailed the Gloss Team and with in minutes I was reassured that it could all be restored. Communication was amazing and the next morning I had my whole APP back! Highly recommend! Especially for a Salon Suite Owner. Thank You again Gloss Team!

Hairstylist chemical info
This app only worked for about 3 weeks after I paid the year subscription. Now I can’t access my clients info. I’m very disappointed, I thought it was going to work great. I’ve tried to contact them about the issue and I don’t get any reply. I would not recommend this app.
Need assistance asap
I just updated the app and every formula was deleted after 2023. I have paying good money to use this service. Contact me immediately or I will be cancelling this subscription permanently
The update is trash
I’ve been using this app for several years and it’s been consistently a great tool for my business. However, after this last update it consistently fails my business. It will freeze, close out, show no formulas saved, and is overall not dependable like it has previously been for me. I tried to get app support but the URL doesn’t work. I also tried to see if there was another update to fix these problems but there isn’t. I can’t sacrifice my client’s details for the instability of this app.

Great customer service
I am a gloss customer until I retire. I stupidly deleted all my information and they tirelessly worked with me till it was restored. I am not tech savvy and they never gave up on me. So impressed with this company.
Update is amazing!
Can’t say enough good things about this app. I’m a renter at my salon and it’s really nice to have my client/formula info separate from the main booking system. Our salons system was down last week and thank god I was the one stylist who still had all my formulas. The recent update is amazing! Ty!
Love Gloss
I’ve been using this app for years and have always loved it! I don’t usually leave reviews but I have to give a shoutout to their customer service. There were some glitches with the update back in January, but they fixed them quickly. I also reached out to support via email when I had an issue, and they responded within 10 minutes. They resolved the problem and none of my data was lost.
I’ve seen some reviews mentioning missing data, but in my case, I just couldn’t see some of my formulas for about 24 hours. Once I contacted support, they made an update on their end, and everything reappeared. Based on my experience, a lot of issues were resolved with either a quick update or by reaching out to support.

Avoid!!!!! All of my info is gone! Terrible and will not respond to my multiple emails for help!!!
I have all of my client info and formulas on this app and have been paying a subscription for years. The recent updates have been awful and now I am locked out of my account and it will not bring up any of my information. I desperately need help and no one from the company will respond to any of my pleading emails. So awful. My business relies completely on all of my information that seems to be lost on this app! Please someone respond to my emails to restore my information!!

What an update on an update!
I admit, I originally left a bad review after the first big update. It was fairly bad but this app really listens to their users! They took into account our issues and ratings and delivered. It took a few weeks but it’s finally back in working order. So I requested to delete my old rating. It’s now super fast and efficient now. It’s super simple and easier to use. If I could change anything, it’s the pink print when writing notes. I have a hard time reading it a lot of the time when I write anything. When you’re clicked on that singular note, it is in black. So that I like because it’s clear and easy to read anything. But the light pink is tough to read.
(They are even adjusting the pink text now!) so exciting!

Disappointed!
This app was AMAZING up until December 2024. I believe they “updated” it and now I haven’t been able to add new clients since.
Very disappointed because it was everything I needed and now I’ve just been wasting money on an app I can’t use.

I absolutely cannot believe this new update. It was good but now every single formula I had wrote for my client is GONE!! DO NOT GET THIS APP. I am so sad I trusted it to keep all my clients information because now I don’t have any back up :(
What a major FAIL
I have used this app for a few years now to save all of my formulas and the new update absolutely RUINED IT. I lost every single formula I have ever saved for all of my clients and wish I had never used this app in the first place. Guess I’m gonna have to start saving them somewhere where I known I won’t lose them.

I have had nothing but problems with the new update. I dislike the layout now, all my notes are not in order. It’s running very slow. Constantly logging me out now I have came on all my notes are now lost. Considering you have to pay for this app and it has all these problems I will be looking to use another app now.

Was great before the recent updates
I love that this app exists. I’ve been using it for a couple years, and have really saved time going digital as opposed to keeping cards. But recently, within the past month, the app has changed and it’s not as great as it used to be. You can no longer edit names, like if my client changes their last name to a married name, can no longer edit the name. I also can’t delete a client, like if one moves away who I’ll never see again. It also slouches and closes the app if I try to tap the letters to the side for the app to scroll down to the letter. And when I’m updating my formulas and I use the equals sign, the app does some weird calculation input. I’m literally never the person to write a review, but for an app I use daily, these changes are really a big miss for me.
