Best app I haven’t used yet.
Happy birthday, Seth 🎉
To celebrate, I downloaded Gnatcast—the only app that somehow captures both the buzzing of gnats and Seth’s unmistakable “I-forgot-deodorant-at-Burning-Man” aura.
Honestly, the app works surprisingly well. It’s lightweight, quirky, and just slightly chaotic—kind of like its creator wandering barefoot through a farmer’s market explaining fermentation to strangers. The interface is clean, though I assume that’s because Seth spent all the design time meditating instead of adding extra buttons.
Performance-wise? Solid. It didn’t crash once, which is more than I can say for Seth after two kombuchas in the sun.
All jokes aside, Gnatcast is weird in a good way—like a hippy who refuses to wear deodorant but somehow still gets invited to every party.
Happy birthday, Seth. Please accept this review as both praise and a gentle nudge toward personal hygiene.

Gnatcast Really Works!
We are hikers, canoers, and fishermen in North Carolina. Thank goodness somebody developed this app to give us the opportunity to decrease gnat/no-see-um exposure and more thoroughly enjoy our outdoor activities!😀
