Inconsistency

Just been having the worst run with GNCU in history. To card problems to account issue, disputes, all the above

Worst Banking App

I agree with the other customer who wrote that it’s ridiculous to require a separate app to control your debit card. GNCU is the only financial institution that does this.

I have been trying to add my GNCU debit card for over a month. Multiple calls to the mobile card app department. 3 separate case numbers and all were sent to the escalation team. No response from them.

Called the GNCU support line and they say it’s not their problem and to call the mobile app department.

Last issue. This is the only financial institution that I ever dealt with that charged me $5 to just be a member. I am not talking about a minimum $5 balance. This a non-refundable $5 to join GNCU.

Waste

So what’s the point if he wants Apple Pay and he has to download an app to link it to Apple Pay. Dumb and also a waste of storage. I tried setting it up but no he’s mad that he has to get another app and do all these steps to get Apple Pay. I have told him go to Bank of America since all of the functions are in one app even links easily to Apple Pay. Also took a while to help set it up with him!

Always some issue

Unable to combine personal and business accounts like one can with almost every other single financial institutes…
Also unable to see any transactions since the 16th on the business account!

Considering moving both of the accounts elsewhere asap!

The main reason I joined was I was lead to believe that gncu had excellent customer service and support and thought I’d have personalized help w investing. Seems I was incorrect.
