Leaves a lot to be desired
My organization just switched to assetworks for their work order management system. Unfortunately, this application leaves a lot to be desired.
Aside from there being no android version, this application is very difficult to learn and to use.
Some difficulties I deal with daily:
(1) Cannot pinch to zoom anywhere in the app. Cannot zoom in on any text or details. This makes reading work orders and attached documents very, very difficult.
I cannot believe such basic functionality has been omitted from this app.
(2) Endless dropdown menus and excessive clicking, scrolling, and button selection to accomplish the most basic of tasks. For the same tasks, my actual work in the app has doubled from our last system.
(3) Will not list all work orders in a continuous scrolling list. Defaults to a limited list where every single time I have to select a second or third page to view work orders. After selecting/viewing a work order and going back to the list, once again have to click through multiple pages of work orders to find new work orders. This is the most frustrating aspect f this app.
(4) No android version of this app. I cannot tell you how limiting this is for users in our organization, leading many to carry multiple phones at all times.
