Poor app
Sorry this app is piss poor you go through the hassle of creating an account then you try to sign in and it comes up with an identity error every time sums up anything to do with Coventry council slap dash very poor and very often doesn’t work so advice is to get a physical card and bin the app
Hell on earth - gave up
Well if Coventry wants to make sure it charges all of its citizens to get in to places this is the app to choose. Over two years I have tried multiple times to gain access to this app as have my family we are all born in Cov and have lived here our whole lives and yet this app glitches and removes your phone number every time and replaces it with your email and then tells you you added it wrong, doesn’t accept the required ID documents and makes logging and accessing Coventry frustrating, unachievable and angered the hell out of me. Eventually after many months of going round in circles and one last attempt (which was actually 6) today I finally got on…now hopefully I can help my family get on it to. Such a shame as it’s a great looking informative app but really difficult to set up :(
UPDATE: 2 days later it removed my GoCV+ status and every time I send in my documents (which are as specified and correct) it gives me a brief moment of being permitted access to go CV+ before requiring updated details which it says you need to submit every year but I havd been submitting every day and now I truly give up. This card is unfit for purpose and no response from customer service. It’s a symbol of exactly how rubbish Coventry has become. The app support is as apathetic as Coventry Council is towards its people!
