I had a couple of occasions earlier this year when my booking was cancelled without enough notice to make alternative arrangements.
But more recently it’s worked very well and have had no problems.
It seems that if you’re lucky enough to get one of the drivers assigned to Go Taxi they are reliable. It appears to be when a driver from a sub-contractor takes on the trip that things can go horribly wrong.

Worst taxi app ever!!
Pre ordered and then it cancelled 5 mins before pick up then price massively went up and we were stranded!
Appalling
Do not use these taxi drivers. Awful service. Accepts your journey then doesn’t show up, or if you pre book will cancel the journey 20 mins before. If i could give it 0 i would. Terrible Terrible Terrible. Don’t waste your time.

Shocking!
Booked a taxi in advance to get cancelled 1/2 hour before. Messaged and they says if I didn’t get a text message confirming that day from them it’s not booked. I can’t booked 2 taxis on the off chance that 1 might cancel?!
Russian money scam
I lost over £1k on this and continue to the legal case with my bank. Avoid like the plague!
Disappointing
Has been hit and miss with cars cancelling jobs, not arriving for pre booked pickups, app not accepting payment and cars not having card readers! Personally I’ll stick to just calling a taxi until the island gets UBER!

Appalling, don’t waste your time!
This app simply does not work. It froze several times trying to log in with my phone number, when I could get in the app functionality was ridiculous! It allowed me to book a cab but the driver kept changing and would not tell me how long he would be. If you navigate away from the tracking page for any reason you can’t get back to it. Yesterday I was stranded waiting for a driver who never arrived! When I tried to call the company number it went straight to answerphone no matter which option I pressed! And to top it off they have charged my card l anyway for a trip I never took! Scam, if I could give 0 stars I would!

Doesn’t work
We booked ahead then found our trip was canceled with no explanation. Tried again to book and again trips cancelled. Message that booking unavailable in this country. We were in Ryde IOW asking for a trip in Ryde IOW. Surprised because the app worked for us in 2023.
Unacceptable-cancelled 5 mins before pick up had to take black cab for £120
The driver cancelled 5 mins before the scheduled pick up to take us from St Helens to Yarbour across the island. Even though we had reconfirmed with him an hour prior to the pickup. Ended up having to find a black cab last minute on a bank holiday that ended up costing us £120. Left a message with the company didn’t even get a call back. If you book and your driver is Sherman Cook avoid at all costs. I quote “sorry mate won’t make it, good luck” with 2 toddlers and luggage trying to catch a boat that’s totally

This is scam!
The original route was not followed so the distance miles were added more. Then we tried to talked to driver and he said “this is the best road for better viewing”. We felt that we scammed!!! £41.43 is too much! Unlike in alpha taxi we spent only £26 from newport to pearl factory
Terrible!
Before you can book a taxi you have to transfer money into the account. Which I did when trying to book. Taxi never turned up. I have tried to order taxis since and never available or never turn up. I emailed to try get my money back and they said they will sort it. Still have my money! Will be reporting!!!!

The worst service and app for cabs - don’t use it
Terrible service
Never any drivers available and barely functional app, so be prepared to be either stuck in one place (e.g hotel) or be stuck after one trip with no other way of getting home other than a 2 hour walk in the heat.
Ridiculous service and app doesn’t work properly. Not to sound entitled but it was a complete waste of time and ruined our entire holiday.

Poor
Had a booking accepted. Estimated price for the journey was about £10. The journey cost almost £60! Surely the estimated prices shouldn’t be out by £50. That’s not reasonable. I understand it’s estimated but thats way beyond the fair margin for error
The app no longer works properly
I’ve had a very good experiences using this app but I really don't know what's going on, it just doesn't work anymore.
Don’t rely on scheduled rides
Have had a few good experiences but twice in the last few months I’ve had my scheduled ride cancelled at the last minute, which is really annoying if you have luggage and need to catch a ferry.
