Convenient service - But !!
I have used this service since I moved to London 7 years ago. The service is very convenient for me (a senior) and they offer senior rates. Some of their vehicles have very poor suspension and the drivers drive way too fast. All gas & brake!

Do not use to pre-book
Having to catch a train the next morning, I thought I’d use this app to book a car ahead of time. Very bad idea.
I called to confirm the car 10 minutes before the scheduled pick up. My booking was confirmed but I was informed on the phone that there wasn’t a car available to pick me up for at least 20 minutes *after* my scheduled time. I had to cancel and scramble to find a ride as this new time would cause me to miss my train.
There was zero proactive communication from Checker to tell me they didn’t have a car. Had I not called ahead of time I would have been screwed. If you’re going to allow pre-booking, figure out the logistics before subjecting your customers to this incredibly poor service.

Looks Great - Shame it Doesn’t Work!!!
Firstly, I’m quite tech savvy! First impressions of this App were excellent. Great looking user interface, intuitive, and nice security protocols. What a shame, that after three days of trying to use and a phone call to to the company, that this app simply will not work!!! Every time I tried to complete a booking, I get error message, “opps something went wrong, try again in a minute”.

The app is great to set up. Three easy questions and it is set up. Can easily set up a ride in only a couple clicks. Always friendly and nice staff when they arrive.

Ordered the car to my door. Was super simple and it had an Uber feel. The driver, Ed, was very courteous and made my trip very enjoyable. He even took the time to wait so I didn’t have to get out in the rain.
